NAS shoe shopping with DH...

It's such an educational experience for him. (I got to thinking about this after Kim posted about her DH's fashion...)

He was completely flummoxed by the tall boots. He kept saying "They're huge! They'd go all the way over your knees!" Yes my love, this is why they're called over-the-knee boots...

And then I was sighing over the Charles David Regiment boots:

He goggled and then said "They look just exactly like what the professors would wear at Hogwarts!" I rolled my eyes.

Shopping with him cracks me UP.

And reading your threads cracks me up. Hubby is a scream.

Hogwarts is fab and so are your boots - which made my top NAS list by the way! If I did not get the SW boots, it would have been these. So casually refined and fab. Very Euro-looking.

That sounds exactly like something my husband would say. Hogwarts! I love it! He's pretty accurate, but that doesn't make the
boots any less cool.

Yep Angie, I looove those boots. Had to walk away though, as they weren't in the budget this year. My darling boy is very sheltered, fashion-wise, but he did help me pick out the Fryes I bought last winter so he isn't completely hopeless.

He's just very conservative and occasionally silly.

I agree, too funny! My DH just keeps repeating to me "This is not your style" for each new purchase for the last 2 month (ahmm, since my joining YLF ). But it is OK, education is in progress!
BTW the funniest thing was said by my teenage son when he saw mynew turquoise toenails. He ask his father if they need to give me first aid as apparently I have problems breathing with my toenails turning blue...
