NAS Sale help with Lafayette 148 dress

Anyone know the fit of the Lafayette 148 dresses? I am looking at this one -

It's pretty pricey even on sale but I love the shape of it. Any chance the waist might fall at the right place on a petite? I'm less concerned about the length because that can be easily tailored.

Not familiar with the brand fit, but looking at the other dress reviews, they are all over the place. Some run a size small, some are TTS, and some are a size big. Eeep. Can you order multiple sizes?

Ha! All of the small sizes are gone already. If I can't make it to a store, it looks like I am out of luck!

Oh, they will be back! People will probably start returning things this weekend. Nordstrom now has an inventory system that tracks both online and in store stock levels, so if someone returns to the store you can purchase it online and the store will ship it directly to you. So much faster than waiting for it to be returned to online.

I know, the sleeves are kind of meh. I need it as a layering piece under blazers. I guess for this kind of $$ I should look for something I can wear on it's own too.

order it in the smoke in your size... then atleast you can see how it fits, and watch for the black to come in your size.
you may end up loving the smoke anyway.

I can't remember ever trying anything Layfette 148 on and thinking it ran big. . .probably because I was too small of waist and large of hip. . .
