I should have been able to write this review last Wednesday because ONTRAC loaded my shoes onto a delivery truck that morning. That evening it said, "Delivery area not accessible." BS. The next day, the same routine: "Delivery area not accessible." BS X 2. On Friday when they again did not deliver they did not bother giving an excuse. Friday night, I called Nordstrom for ONTRAC's number. One day, I will excuse. Two days, I will grumble. But a third day on a delivery truck with no delivery? Brings out the inner Karen in me. So now, on Saturday, I got my shoes.

Ecco combat boots: These are more olive than a true gray, so I will have to see how they go with my various grays. They are also shorter than many combat boots which may be a benefit since I a:m short with short legs -- but do note they are only 5" high. Otherwise, the leather is very soft and comfy. Note the toe is very rounded.

Born Mules: They are for a higher volume foot and won't work even with tongue pads stuck on over the top. Otherwise, they're comfy but a little boring.

Gray Mules: I rather decided before they even arrived that they were too classic for me. But other than that, they run about 1/2 size short. They should work for a wide-ish foot.

Halogen Sweater: I stalked this after my first order was cancelled. Burgundy Stem? Yeah, maybe the stems and dregs at the bottom of the burgundy bottle. To my eye, this color skews dead brown. If it were redder and more vibrant, I might have kept it. I have its gray and black sibling sweater (see Finds), but as it is I am spending $21 to shorten the sleeves since Nordstrom no longer runs its Halogen sweater in Petites.

Gray Cardigan: I returned the XS and now have an XXS. I still have to roll the cuffs, but to my eye it looks like my sweater vs. a borrowed one. It is about 7/8 length on me so I hope it looks intentional.

Alterations Note: I think I actually learned this last year with DH, but it didn't sink in. For NAS pants/jeans, you aren't charged for hemming. I was, however, charged for shortening the sleeves of my striped top ($16) and $21 for the sweater mentioned above.

Next week, I hope my sweaters will have arrived so I can review them if anyone wants to stalk them for markdowns. I ordered Janet's vest (in two sizes) but I am a good half foot shorter than she is. . .
