NAS quick question

In order to take advantage of the pre-sale starting July 11th, do you need have a Nordie's card? It seems to me I saw this somewhere on here previously but darned if I can find the thread.

I think you do have to have a card. I'm not sure if you have to have a Nordstrom credit card, or if a debit card is enough. I have a Nordstrom Debit card, but I haven't tried to make a pre-sale appointment.

Shannon, were you going to order online or go to the store? If you go they can open a card for you on the spot - they did for me last year.

How does the pre-sale appointment work? Are you just allowed to shop early or do you work with a stylist?

When I have gone, they let you browse in the fitting rooms that they have turned into mini showrooms. I think they will pull your size and hold on presale until event.

Two years ago, you had to come back and get the items you bought pre-sale, but last year I was able to just take everything with me. I'm not sure if that's what they're going to do this year, but I liked it better.

The only thing is, many of the best items are GONE after the first day or two of pre-sale. There were some shoes I wanted last year that were sold out by the time I went for my pre-sale appointment Gotta go pretty early to get the most coveted items (and sometimes it's hard to guess what those will be).

I just got a Nordstrom Debit card, it was easy. They should be able to do it on the phone. They told me the debit card entitled me to shopping at NAS prior to it opening to the public. I am not setting up any sort of appointment but I will be near a store on July 13 so I hope I can find a few things. I like the sales they have on basics like good bras and underwear at NAS, it's a great time to stock up on things that never go on sale but that every one needs.
