NAS Q - Has anyone see these trousers in person?

There is a pair of olive green wide leg trousers in the catalog. They are Lafayette 148. Has anyone been able to see them in person or try them on? I am debating how much I like them and would make an effort to buy them or try them on...

Fingers crossed there will be some merchandise left by the time I can shop!

I loved them online and tried to order them in purple, but they sold out before I could complete the transaction! Rats!!

Ugh, MaryK that does not bode well for me...I can't shop till 2pm on the 20th! Hopefully the buyers have more inventory on it's way!

Lafayette 148s trousers are my favorites.

From what the sales associate told me, they are good for ladies like myself who have curvy bottoms (i.e. big hips) They are NOT low-rise pants. They are mid-rise on me, but I have a longer than average measurement from waist to crotch.

I usually buy 8's or 10's for pants/skirts. I bought 8's in these.

They seem well-made to me, but I would be even more in love with them if they were lined.

Ah, perfect, Amy! I prefer a higher rise as well, and am also curvy (usually buy a 10 these days...le sigh).

I tried the 4 and the 2 in the "teak" color and was swimming in them...the legs were far too wide on me. Lovely fabric though and I liked the 3 colors I saw: olive, teak, and the blackberry.

I love a wide leg trouser. These were the one thing I saw that interested me. Sure hope they'll be available in my size when I'm ready to shop.
