NAS Purchases Round Four-Shoes/Boots

Hi,

Thanks for viewing my NAS "haul" in the previous three posts for essentials, and dresses, and jeans and cardigan. This is the last of it.

I should have taken a photo of the PILE of shoes and boots I tried on, and what do I come home with, Cole Haan. I do try on other brands, I promise!

#1-#2-Cole Haan Tali Lace Wedge
I liked the AGL flats but they would not fit my feet.

#3-#4-Cole Haan Air Whitley Strap Boot
I tried on every black boot they had in the store, and only these "fit". Many were too tall and hit me in the knee. Or too large in the calf. So frustrating to try on boots! I am hoping the crisscross is enough to make them different from the gray Air Avalon I purchased during last year's NAS. They are just a "sister" boot right?

#5-Halogen Folk Gray Anthracite Scarf
This folds up nicely but it's too hot to do so right now.

Very nice choices!! The wedges look great on and must fit well - to come home with you. Love the boots (I'm signing back in to the sale to check them out. . .) I think they are a great balance of classic and interesting details.

Wow - you were a busy bee at NAS! Did you manage this all in ONE trip? You got some great things

Yes, it took a few cups of tea and it was a long day. I did find it easier to mix and match items, having them all with me at once though. And I purchased the shoes last, after 7 hours, anything that was comfortable should work out ok.

The boots - I die! Gorgeous. Not a good judge of ballet shapes, but those look cute with the wedge.

Oh, those boots - gorgeous! They do not look even remotely like your grey ones.
Wedges and scarf are great too - I am glad at least somebody was successful at NAS!

Can we see a pic of the boots full-body? I only ask because I know when boots hit *me* where those do, they end up being too tall. But you are obviously not me, and your body may like that height.

Rae-Thanks! Good eye, many boots do hit me in the knee and are too tall. These just sit underneath and are the same height as a gray pair I purchased from this brand last year. I will post them with jeans in a new thread soon.

Angie-A triple killer, that's great. At least the footwear was a home run, I dislike having to return shoes even more than clothing.

Deborah-Thanks! I also like the wedges because they look like ballet flats but have some height which should prevent me from having to dedicate a pair of jean to flats only.

These all look like great picks to my eye. Black is very different from grey. I have been giving this thought lately. Black can be used for more of a bold, graphic look, and grey can only ever be soft.

Scarlet-Very interesting observation, I had not thought of that, but I 100% agree!
