Hi Michelle. Glad you like the selection;-)
I'm not very good at describing styles, colours and patterns in English, but I'll give it a go. First let me say that I completely agree with Sarah's advice and descriptions.
- Coats: You're absolutely right. I'd hold out for something in a fabulous colour.
- Semantiks purple boiled wool jacket: it's a bright royal purple, not loud, just a lovely bright colour. The ruffles are 'large' and run from the top of the collar all the way down to the hem of the jacket, where they continue all around. i.e. the bottom has ruffles in the front and back also. It's very feminine and playful. It also has two (flat) front pockets with a horizontal border of about 2 inches 'on top', that border runs all along the jacket, in the back as well (it kind of looks like a belt in the same colour). It kind of accentuates your waist.
The material doesn't look clingy at all Michelle, I would definitely give this a try.
- Halogen cord blazer: I only know the brand from seeing it on-line, perhaps someone else will be able to tell if the brand runs large.
- First Sweet Pea top: LOL, I indeed picked the same top as Angie. I would definitely go with the patterned one Angie suggested.
- I don't know if you noticed, but I found another Sweet Pea top too, this one has a V-neckline (the material crosses over at the bust, a bit of a wrap top effect), which I think would be very flattering on you. It hits just below the model's bottom. It has a large paisley print (somebody please help me describe paisley!). Colours: two shades of purple, orange, white and bright pink. (looks a lot better than it sounds;-)

- Fall foliage: it looks like leaves in different colours have been laid on top of each other, the edges of one leave hiding part of the leaves underneath. It all blends into one, just like with a real tree. Colours: black, orangey red, fuchsia/pink and a dark (slightly brownish) purple.
- Michael Kors top: There's nothing Sunday school about this one Michelle;-) It looks like 7 small square pieces of fabric (about an inch in diameter) have been 'attached' to the top part of the neckline (they lie completely flat, no worries). It really is a fab top, I had been eyeing it on the Nordstrom site for quite a while.
- Tweed pants: it's a very small tweed pattern, I think this will certainly work on you.
- Herringbone pants: have you ever measured your inseam Michelle? Could you check with a pair of pants that you own that are a good length? You'll have to decide if you want to wear these pants with flats or a small/high heel and commit to that length.
- Cardigans: I'll have a look on a few other websites Michelle, and see if they have something similar.
Handbags: oh my, that first one sounds super (the kate spade is out of my price range). Could someone describe the one in the first link?
Did you mean this one, Michelle?

Scarves: I can imagine, the second one is very hard to describe!-)
The first one is just one solid colour, you can wear it as a wrap over your shoulders, or as a regular scarf. The Elsa pink is a lovely fuchsia, the Tanzanite is actually royal purple and the Turkish blue is a teal blue.
If you're after something special, I would go for the second scarf, it's just so unique.
Does this help at all?
