Okay, how's this for a seasonally confused outfit?! l will forever associate NAS with trying on wool clothes in the heat of summer!
I love the coat and plan to keep it. It's soft, warm, and beautifully constructed. I tried my usual size, and it fit with room to spare for a bulky sweater. It's fun wearing a buffalo plaid in cobalt instead of red. The sleeves were a teensy bit short when I held my arms out in front of me, so I took advantage of free alterations during NAS and had the sleeves let out as far as possible.
The pics are also an example of mixing high and low end. Coat is Pendleton from the NAS, and the dress is from Target. I wore the dress today teaching group piano at a middle school music camp. One of my students told me she liked the dress, so I think it passes!
My hair is desperately in need of a trim. It was supposed to be cut yesterday, but my poor niece stylist fell Saturday and broke her elbow! So I have to live with my unruly hair a few more days.
So my 2016 NAS keeps are the Pendleton coat and the Adidas shirt. I also ordered the Classiques Entier pant with leather trim and am leaning toward keeping them.
