I ordered a huge assortment of items from the sale. Some are Angie picks, plenty are not because some Angie picks were sold out and I am impatient. We'll see how it all works out.

Pics 1-4: Angie picks. Cardigan in #1 is wildcard, and I"m hoping the Vans in #2 will sort of go with #1.

#5 Kurt Geiger bag: a smaller version of the Angie pick. I'm hoping this will go with my going on 5 year old Rick Owens capsule in the grey-green color of "Dark Dust." I bring this capsule along when I travel because aside from the jacket the skirts and tops are lightweight to pack. I'm not sure if the Chanel vibe will go with Rick Owens, we'll see.

#6 Fun earrings.

#7 Wildcard item, not the style obviously I am the queen of cardigans. But the color is a wildcard.

#8 and 9: Not on sale but I seem to live in Birkenstocks now. I have zero tolerance for foot pain at this point in my life, and Birkenstocks are cut wide with adjustable arch straps so perfect for my weird feet (very wide with tailors bunions, high bony arches and very narrow bony heels). I have given up on wide fit shoes as the heels are too big but a European 37 (36 in Birks) with some inserts here and there seems to work well. I cannot come anywhere near Aquatalias, so sad they are always too narrow for me. I have done well with Vans (#2) in the past, never tried Eccos (#3) am trying them now.

#10 and 11: A sweater twin set in honor of my Mom who passed away on June 30. She was a devoted, almost daily twinset wearer. She swore by Lands End and her favorite going out designer was Misook which she's wearing in this picture. I am very sad about it but working every.single.day at my new restaurant so don't have too much time to get depressed. Today I am procrastinating bookkeeping tasks in favor of ordering thousands of dollars of merchandise from NAS. And then posting about the haul here on YLF. It feels like some weird form of therapy. Lol.

#12: Burgundy wrap. I ordered a lilac wrap last NAS and was surprised how often I used it. It did form quite a few holes over the year but such is the condition of cashmere these days. I get a lot of soft for a low price from cashmere so have decided to accept the imperfection. It's a good exercise in acceptance for me.

#13: Tory Buch watch. Reflects my move to more classic dressing. A practical item I will wear all the time.

#14: Black top. I've moved away from white tops for work, black hides the ketchup stains so much better and I just wear 18 hour lipstick to add color and smile ALL THE TIME it's a good enough look for running a restaurant and serving. Yes I completely own this new restaurant but still serve; there is no better way to get close to the customer and know what works/what doesn't than serving.

# 15: Hosiery. Let's see how good these low priced stockings are.
