I was so excited about NAS but unfortunately was underwhelmed. I was hoping to get some 'killer' pieces but I ended getting my basics - pants for work, bras ( thank you Kari for the Chantelle RIva recommendation - the bras were superb)
Here's what I got.
Do you think I can do better?
#1 & #2 - Kenneth Cole wool coat - I am building my fall/winter wardrobe, and I was looking for a non black winter coat - The sleeves are long but I tried sizing down but it was uncomfortable, so had to go for the longer size.
#3 - Halogen jacket which I picked in the magenta as well as grey as it is a great work wardrobe classic. I am not too thrilled about the long sleeves, but I just have to accept that my arms are short
Also, in the picture are the halogen "Taylor Fit" pants. These are the nicest fitting pants I've found in this price range, so I picked up the grey and the brown
I have ordered the Tina Turk Aline skirt in black as they did not have my size in the store. It is pricey so unless the fit does me wonders, I might return. I am also waiting on the Halogen skirt in grey - will post pics soon
The shoe section was disappointing as I wear a 6 W and need wide calf boots as well. As some of you have already pointed out, NAS is not good for the wide legged .
I saw the Guess leather jacket in store and it was gorgeous but I don't think I am a 'leather' kind of gal.
The Pleonie tops looked nice but they fit me badly at the hip ( too tight).
I also tried the Classiques Entier sweater top and for $98 I felt the green and the blue colors were too faded.
Overall, I am pretty disappointed except for the bras ( thank you Kari !) I will wait for Angie's picks now.
