NAS & new Burberry belt Purchases

I am probably keeping the jeans, which are higher waisted than most for those who look for that, & probably the sweater unless anyone has anything to say about either of them. There are always other sweaters & jeans out there. The belt is a keeper. I like other more expensive sweaters & bought this & a striped one yesterday & am wondering if I shouldn't settle. Not that I don't like either of them but I am trying to buy less items that are a 10, even if they cost more because I am buying less of them. I was thinking though that the solid sweater might be more useful than the leopard & houndstooth ones I was considering. The loudness of the others mean I can wear them less often on a trip or something. For home I suppose I have others to rotate. Any thoughts welcome.

The jeans look great to me, as does the sweater. I particularly love the way they come together in #3! Very chic! Your jacket in #2 is very flattering as well.

I agree about the versatility of solid, but during a long sweater wearing season, I find I need a few prints to break up the winter monotony. So, for me, I'd need at least a couple print sweaters. The solids are good for layering over print silk collared blouses.

I get a lot more winter than you would, so take all that in perspective

ETA: Are the jacket and booties new NAS items?

Love the belt. Sweater is great too. Nearly all my sweaters are plain, though some have different textures.That one looks beautiful quality.

As for printed sweaters, I think they're surprisingly versatile. As long as you don't mind repeating. A graphic pattern like a stripe or houndstooth wears well (at least to me). I don't tire of it.

I find that classic patterns are exactly that: classic! You can wear them on a trip (instant "oomph" for your travel outfits) or to break up a winter doldrums. Leopard, houndstooth, and stripes fit that criteria, though if you're considering a floral or colorblocked item I might hesitated a bit more. Let's see some photos of the candidates!

Love the way you've styled #3, it has that casual-but-pulled-together vibe I envy. Makes your torso look super long and lean, too!

I didn't see this earlier. Are you trying to decide between the two sweaters? I think this one might have a higher longevity factor than the striped one (because of it's style and colors--a classic Breton would be a tougher contender IMO). The jeans look great to me.

I like everything shown here. For solid vs print on sweaters, I actually find it hard to locate a nice printed sweater but solids are easy to find. So I vote grab a printed one that sings to you when you see it.
