The 27s were squeezing the stuffing out of me...these are 28s.

They look great! I vote keep!
Be careful with that dark wash though. It can rub into other fabrics, bags and light toppers. Launder before wearing all day.

They look great to me! I also LOVE your sandals.

Zap is right - the last few pairs of dark indigo jeans I tried all said to rinse in vinegar and salt before wearing to set the dye. I have seen too many white bags with dye transfer!

Zap - Thanks! They are very comfy. Just need to wash them and have Nordies hem them.

rae - Is there a "recipe" somewhere? The salt thing is new to me. I am definitely planning to wash/air dry them before hemming and wearing them. Do you recommend washing/air drying more than once before wearing the first time?

I tried them on too in my size - and also felt very constricted They definitely run smaller that other Paige brands.
They look good though!

These jeans look great on you!

I suggest that you wear them around the house to stretch them a bit before you wash them because they will tighten up in the wash (even if you hang them to dry). Wash them inside out as well.

I would call them more skinny than straight, but they look great! I've used vinegar in the rinse to seal in the color. I think it was based on advice given here.

Anne, Sveta - I thought I was safe ordering the 27s - the 28s were supposed to be my "just in case" size. So glad I ordered the 28s!

tarzy - I thought of you when I ordered these - I remember you had great success with Paige HH bootcuts, is that right? (Piperlime order??) Sorry they are out - maybe they will come back in stock before the sale ends.

Jjsloane - I agree - they are very fitted all the way down until maybe the calf, ankle (they obviously need to be hemmed on me. I'm wondering if I'll be able to tuck these in boots, as they are pretty fitted through the thigh like a skinny jean.

Those look great on you! I always let my jeans soak in a tub of vinegar and water overnight. I've never tried adding salt. I'm always very generous with the vinegar...

Gosh, why would you think of returning, they look great! By the way, I also liked your jeggings/sweater combo on a recent thread. To me when the jeggings are jean-like enough, butt-exposure is sanctioned in my book.
