NAS K/R - Olivia Moon Jacket in White

Olivia Moon jacket from NAS in white. SO comfortable. Not lined so it stretches with you, but still a nice thick weight. This could be at elast a 3 season jacket for me. Four on arctic office AC days.

I feel like the shoulders fit, and it buttons!! The sleeves are a tiny bit too long, but I would scrunch them anyway.

I popped it over what I was wearing today, so I will try to style it tonight. It has been a hectic week, but I just had to open one of the deliveries that arrived

(Sorry for the wonky expression. That was my "really? Really?" face to DD as she was pulling out all of the toys in her toybox I had just put away!)

Love you in that white - it lights up your face (and 'wonky' expression ;-))

Great fit and the lapels create a lovely vertical line in front.

I bet you'll find tons of ways to use this! And I think stretchy jackets are the perfect topper.

It looks great in the photo, and fits like a dream! But I do worry about the fabric in white Thistle, as it is not the same level of quality as the grey stripe, red stripe, grey solid and navy spot in the same silhouette. Those fabrics were superior. How do you feel about the white fabric?

I received the red striped yesterday and it is a great quality jacket. I think I will get lots of use out of it. I think you will love the navy spot one.

That fit is AWESOME. If you like the fabric, keep. Or try the other colors, I agree they felt more solid, if that makes sense.

The fit looks good, and I really like the shape of the lapels on you. But I am going to throw a teeny spanner into the mix here. I feel like it needs shoulder pads. Don't know if it's how the sleeves are scrunched or just how you are standing, but it seems to be making your shoulders look very small and sloped. I totally get it, I have the same issue myself all the time especially with thinner, unlined knit jackets. If there is room in the armhole it is easy to add (or have a tailor add) a small shoulder pad to give some more structure.

ETA: I just saw that Angie said the fabric on the other colors was more substantial. That might give enough structure to the shoulders on its own.

Great jacket! I was thinking of getting this in either the Army Animal or Navy Dot. How is the quality and sizing?

I am waiting for the navy dot to come in. Angie says the fabrication is much better on the navy dot and the stripes, and she is almost always right!

Got as far as Angie's comment. My first reaction was: it fits well. But there is something very lab technician about an all-white jacket like this one. Maybe the cut, which is fine, is too utilitarian to get away from that association when it's white.

I'm with Mochi, I can never wear white blazers because they remind me of doctor's coats. You look great in it, though!

And I have that expression, too--all the time!
