NAS Keep/Return - Classique leather skirt and Hudson skinnies

I paired both with the Blondo boots for photo expediency!

ETA Darn, well, now I wish I had waited five minutes for the UPS guy to deliver the Valette sweater in green (it's a keep given the fit is the same as the coral version which got a YLF thumbs up, but would have been a fun pairing with the skirt and skinnies).

ETA#2 I was the brief owner of a pair of Hudson skinnies last fall, but the trademark back pocket triangle flaps made me return them. I'm pleased to say that these Hudsons do NOT have that back pocket flap, so they will work nicely with tunics.

ETA#3 I am pretty happy with the fit of both these items, but always like to run them past the YLF crowd. Plus, I want to make sure that the leather skirt is not to vavoom (rear view particularly) as I would absolutely wear this to church (a very non-vavoom venue).

Love both. I bought that skirt too. My favorite NAS purchase. I also bought the black leather Halogen jacket which I will wear on occasion with the skirt when I want to look edgier. You look great in both items.

Joining the chorus of keeps! I think the length of the skirt makes it modest enough for church. I know churches differ, though. Do you feel comfortable?

Keep both for sure. I think the skirt is fine, I know what you mean about considering an item for church, I do the same thing. I wonder if it will stretch just a bit with wear? Do you mind posting what size this is? I just ordered that exact skirt and am curious as to the sizing. Thanks:)

Tina, I can be a 4 or a 6 on bottom depending on how the item runs. My Halogen seamed pencil skirts from last year are all 4s. I tried this skirt in a 4, and I thought it looked indecent from the side (booty shot). Because there's so much stretch, I wasn't getting the pull lines in front that can indicate a too-small fit, so I took my cue from the fact that I was getting too much of a bum outline...lol!

The skirt I am keeping is a 6. It fits very well in the waist and still nips in at the hem in a lovely pencil skirt shape.

Thanks MPJ! I am in Canada and I ordered a fair amount from the NAS, I hope I'm as successful as you with the fit of my choices. I ordered the 0, I went by the size chart which should technically give me extra room in the hips. Oh well, I'll have to wait and see. I was worried it might be too big but you have allayed my fears:)
