NAS jeans & coat - YouLookFab Forum

I got to shop early today and came home with two pairs of jeans and a coat. I may choose one of the jeans. Or keep both or neither. I'm not sure yet. I got the Rag and Bone Harlow (photos 2-3) and Levi's 501s (photos 4-5).

I'm pretty sure the coat is a keeper. I bough the Zella 3-in-1 Trench coat. I think the coat is nicely made. I'm showing pictures of it on, plus a close-up of the snap holder you can use to keep the vest in place. (I bought the XS, not the S.) I tried on the Save the Duck raincoat and didn't like it as well. It fit me in size small, FYI.

Photo 1 is my shopping outfit: denim dress (Madewell), black boyfriend blazer (OSKA), black cowboy boots and black cross-body bag with tapestry and stud embellishments.

I ordered the Amalfi pumps in 3 sizes to try. They weren't available in the store. I also bought new bras and undies.

Fun shopping outfit. The cowboy boots pair beautifully with the denim dress and blazer. The embellishment on this bag is beautiful!

Both NAS jeans look good. The rag and bone look slightly more relaxed and the Levi’s fit slightly more form fitting. Both are stellar options. The Zella trench is a home run. Your NAS is off to a great start!

Love the coat, it's a winner on you! Jeans are hard to get right, so take your time. For me, it's all about the rear view.

Julie, the hood seems ample. It has elastic ties to cinch it around the face also. I kinda wish the hood was removable, although admittedly, I rarely remove the ones that are.

The coat looks really, really great -- like a nicer version of my Lole packable coat (but I guess not packable, so it lacks that feature.) Love that it is so versatile.

Jeans also look fantastic but it is hard to tell the differences from the photos (on my laptop, anyway). You look great in all jeans, so there is also that....

Suz, I think Lisa's comment captures the essence of the differences in the jeans. The Rag & Bone have a more relaxed fit through the hip and thigh, plus a slightly wider leg all the way down. The fabric is softer, too. The Levi's are a little stiffer and narrower. A big difference for me, too, is the dark (unnoticeable) stitching on the Rag & Bone versus the traditional gold stitching on the Levi's. If I were to keep just one of them, I'm leaning toward the Rag & Bone. I have a feeling that I will regret it if I return them. With the Levi's, I can and do buy them at full price. The Levi's washes are often not what I'm looking for, though, and I do like this one.
