NAS items on sale again

I'm not sure if anyone has already posted on this but I was just noticing that quite a few of the NAS items Angie picked out are on sale again e.g. Dolmain Drape Neck Sweater, Halogen Seamed Knit Skirt, Hinge Crop Tweed Jacket. Very limited sizes left but it might be worth a look if you missed out on something.

Yes! I couldn't buy anything at NAS but this time around I splurged a bit and bought the drape neck sweater and olive seamed pencil skirt. They didn't have my size in the store but were able to find both items at other stores so they're on their way to me!

That's great Marianna. I'm glad you didn't miss out! I've had my eye on those items also but they haven't got my size back in the black in the seamed skirt. I did cave a few weeks ago and got the Hinge jacket when it came back in my size. Unfortunatley I paid full price but I have a feeling I won't be sorry!

Thanks, an - I did see it in another thread, but it is a great opportunity - not to miss out a second time - for those who are kicking themselves. . .

marianna - I got the olive knit skirt (as did many others) and love the fit and fabric. I did read in the comments about ordering one size down and that was true for me. You might have already known that, but just in case, you may want to read through comments about it. . .

I can hardly wait to wear mine - I will be so overdressed for teaching this year

Oh, and that lovely Kennth Cole washable silk tunic is now on sale at $38.90! I have to go back and read the SYC gifting rules. . .

I'm interested too. I got the impression that that the pre-season NAS prices were usually 'it' until much later. (Nordstrom is not sale/clearance crazy like Macy's).

I figure (like someone mentioned in the other thread) that this is a sign of the economy. . . or maybe Nordstrom is changing their marketing approach. . .

I just asked their .com about price matching some watches I saw on amazon.com for less, and they did! (I'll post those pics later for help deciding

It does seem awfully early. In previous years, I remember NAS items would be on sale again in October, sometimes marked down further. I didn't buy anything for myself at NAS, and now I am wondering if I should at least try the Hammer boots... or is there a chance they would go down even lower in price?
I also wonder what it means for the whole retail big picture. If things like SYC are becoming more widespread, there should be changes in retail as well. Not just adapting to recession, but different shopping patterns.

The Bellatrix silk tunic is now LESS than the NAS price. I'm seeing about price matching, too. I don't think this is their typical MO, but with the economy....

Generally, some things would go back to at least close to NAS prices but not this early in my experience. But I heard on the news today that Labor Day is actually one of the best shopping days for deals so it could be a short-term Labor Day sale. I am off to the mall today!
