NAS items - Coat/Jacket questions

See a pattern?! I ordered the leather jacket due to Angie's review, as I am long-waisted. I am hesitant about the fabric under the arms, but I will wait to see the quality before dismissing it. How does it fit - does anyone know? And did anyone try the Bebe coat on? Opinions? The coat is back-ordered, but I'll try to review when I receive it. I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else, even though it was in the NAS catalogue. Maybe everyone else just finds it ugly! Anyway, I really liked the Burberry trenches with the leather sleeves last year, so hopefully these will be quality stand-ins. They surely are much more affordable!

I adore that bebe trench in the photos. I resisted tracking it down because a trench without a hood just doesn't work in my umbrell- free Pacific Northwet lifestyle. I'm excited to see you model it.

I haven't tried it myself as it just wasn't something I needed, but it is awfully cute! I hope that the trench works on you.

Pass on the bebe trench - although you have already ordered it. It flares in a very awkward way from the belt down. Not flattering. I'm sure it's pinned on the model.

The Laundry jacket has great potential. The fabric section under the sleeve makes it very comfortable. You need a long waist to carry off the style. Hope it works! Fingers crossed.

The Laundry jacket fit me well, but the taupe was so, so, so soul-sucking on me. Which is weird because normally I can wear colors like that.

Oh, no. I should have asked Angie first! My hopes are still high for the leather jacket, as I am very long-waisted despite not being very tall (how's that for winning the genetic lottery? Short with short legs!). I will update when things arrive. Thanks.

The reviews on the Bebe trench are very positive on the Nordie's site, although I do see the fuller skirt/bottom in the last picture. I hope I can make it work somehow, as I really like the streamlined look of the zipper instead of buttons (double breasted styles aren't so great on me). The leather jacket was kind of an afterthought, based on the recommendations Angie made. If both work, it will kind of blow the coat budget for fall, and I will still need a grass green wool coat! Oh, well, unless the weather from last winter and this summer keeps up (unusually warm), coat season is dominant here, so it is worth it.
