I followed Angie's advice and went into this sale with some goals and do-not-buy lists. My goals were to augment my workout clothes (ok for those to be black), look for a few pieces of colorful informal office clothes (blouses/cardigan or casual jackets--NO Eileen Fisher tops/jackets, pantsuits or black, since I have those things already), look for interesting pants other than black, and look for comfy bottoms for the days I'm working from home. Didn't need shoes.

Keepers:
Nic+Zoe print sleeveless blouse: The tucking details are beautiful. Thank you Angie--I never would have spotted this on my own!--I found this to run a little big and took a Petite Small.

Halogen red print sleeveless blouse: The shirring at the neckline is flattering. The shoulders curve inward, so I found that regular bra straps are visible. Not an issue for me since I am using it for layering, and a racerback bra might solve the issue. True to size, I took a Small Regular.

Tumi Ruma crossbody: I see this is now sold out. I usually shy away from bright colors in purses, but the deep crimson with silver stole my heart and helped me keep to my goal of avoiding black (except for activewear). Angie, again, thank you for spotting this.

Ugg 2-pack slouchy ribbed socks: I'm now having trouble with Finds and can't add this, and they have sold out of the white/speckled black combo (there is another color combo still available). These are the perfect sleeping socks, or for wearing around the house. They're thick enough to feel cozy, but not so thick that they interfere with the way my house shoes (Dansko mules) fit.

Slip Pure Silk Queen Pillowcase Duo: Again, I'm not able to add this to Finds right now, but this is a good price on these. I switched to a silk pillowcase when my hair was under a lot of stress from chemotherapy, and find that my hair looks better in the morning from a lower-friction pillowcase. This brand is pricey but high quality.

Nike Dri-Fit Running Shorts--Again, I can't add these to Finds right now and they're sold out, but they're my first pair of true running shorts and I love how lightweight they are. True to size--I took a Medium.

Hopeful:
Paige cargo pants: Love these--thank you Angie! The fabric seems to stretch quite a bit, so I've ordered smaller sizes to try. Keeping fingers crossed this works. Perfect as both an interesting pant and one that is comfortable enough to work from home in.

Nic + Zoe cardigans: I'd like to pick up one of the Nic + Zoe cardigans to go with the blouse, but they're sold out of my first choice (Navy). I have the medium blue and pink on their way to me. I have a couple of navy jackets already, so it's probably just as well that I'm (potentially) headed in a different color direction. Really unsure of my sizing here--my broad shoulders can make cardigans run small--so I'm just going to have to hope for the best.

On the fence:
Eileen Fisher Cassis pants. I have a couple of pants in that style and fit is consistent. It drapes nicely so it doesn't cause saddlebags of fabric around my narrow thighs, but accommodates my larger waist. Just not sure about the color. I THINK it blends with both the Nic + Zoe and Halogen sleeveless blouses, but might be a tad too dark.

No:
Treasure & Bond striped blouse. I had hoped to replace a fantastic T&B blouse from a few sales ago (and the collar is a very flattering shape), but the fabric is itchy--not a good quality cotton/linen, and the pale colors wash me out.

Nike Indy Sports Bra: Too difficult to remove.

Zella Liana Shirt: I thought the grey would be darker. Just not flattering on me--also, the sleeves were way too long on me. I was looking for more of a true activewear top and was lucky to snag a Nike Dri-Fit long-sleeve top with fingerholes before it sold out.
