NAS-ish keep or return - YouLookFab Forum

So the middle of a heat wave is not a good time to receive an NAS haul. I am just not feeling anything today. I'll give it a few days before I make any final decisions or post keep or returns for those. In the meantime, I need help with some summery items.

1-5) Gianetta Drape Front Sheer Print Blouse, I love this Angie recommended blouse and I want to keep it but check out the little wings at my shoulders. Are they weird?

6-8) Same blouse in the other color. I think the pattern is off here. Look how it's all black in front. I want the scribble to be all over. I'm thinking about sending it back for another one if the little wings are ok.

9-10) White Kenneth Cole jacket that I ordered while I was considering whether I could keep a jacket that didn't button. I still think the other one is better even though I can't button it. (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....g-a-jacket)

I really like both blouses! I can see what you're saying about the print on the second one--it does look odd. I would re-order and see if you get a better print distribution :). I really like your other white jacket, but this one looks really great too. Any chance you could keep both, or is that just completely enabling?

Great blouses, I prefer the #1st one with the lighter colors. Especially with the white jacket. I'm not a fan of the darker print with the yellow near your face on you, the lighter one brightens your face more.

I really like both blouses, and the pattern distribution of blouse 2 doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I thought it was cool looking.
I really like this jacket... it is very different in style from the other one. Is this one leather?

@QM, it is not leather, it is very light linen. Una has it too, it looks amazing on her. I like it in the pictures, but the "moto" part in the front was kind of unruly. I don't think I can justify keeping both.

I'm no help at all. I love both blouses on you--the print distribution on the second one is kind of cool and edgy. Love the cropped white jacket on you--it's fab. Seems like it's totally different than the blazer in your other post. I must say, that you really seem to have found your style groove. You are looking amazing these days! Love the shorter do too!!!

re: white jacket. if you're committed to picking only 1, it depends on what vibe you wish to project. i really like the contrast between the soft shirt and the tough moto jacket. the other jacket seems more work-like, less edgy, though also really cute on you.

re: blouses...i do like both. the sleeve frill on the first one adds nice detail as long as you're comfortable with it. if you want to keep only 1, i would go with the 1st one. it balances out your top with your bottom. the 2nd one, though a more unusual print, seems to make you look hippy-er than you actually are.

I like both blouses. The jacket looks great, as does the other one, but they have very different "vibes". So I'd go with the one that suits your vibe more (and the way you'd be wearing it).

@bj1111, I like both blouses too, I would keep both. I can wear them now and layer them under jackets in fall.

I'm glad everyone is ok with the shoulder wing dings, I will just have to learn to ignore them. The pattern of the black blouse is still a bit odd, it's going back.

I prefer the colours of blouse #1 against your complexion hands down. Love the white jacket too. Nice loot!

The blouse is very flattering! I'm a fan of the style, wing dings and all!

If I had to choose just one, the purple is the most flattering with your coloring, but if you need another blouse, the black is also nice on you and gives a totally different look (except the wing dings-haha)

I love, love, love the white jacket and together with the tops is a great look!

Well, you know I love the white jacket! Note that I wore mine without folding back the lapels; it looks much better that way on me somehow. Did you try it both ways?

I like the pattern of both blouses - the second one is more funky/modern to my eye. I think the colors of the first are better on your, though. Shoulder frills are a pet peeve of mine, but surprisingly I am liking them on you here. Would you be wearing this blouse under a jacket or on its own, or both?

I have a ruffle phobia myself, but I think these tiny shoulder ruffles echo your curly/wavy hair. . . !?

LOVE the colors and print of the first bouse. Love the abstract art quality of the second one, but IRL it doesn't make such a great print on a person. . .

The jacket looks grat - from what the pics show. The previous one might be easier to wear because it's not asymmetrical. Either one will be lovely, so go with your fave.

I think both blouses are great - I think #1 is super flattering for you color-wise. The sleeves don't bother me at all and the pattern distribution on #2 doesn't bother me either FWIW. I think you look great!

Angie, and others who said that the first blouse was better with my coloring. Can I not wear the second blouse? I was kind of hoping to keep both if they work and I can find a normal print on the second. I was hoping to wear them year round, for work and OTG.

I like both blouses as well! I actually like the print on #2. And I would definitely try the jacket how Una suggested... I thought it looked so cool like that...

Modgrl I love the blouse no 1... i think the colours look great on you. I love the idea of the second blouse but I don't think the colours are most flattering for you. The jacket has to be a keeper it looks great. I just bought a jacket the exact same style and I can't do it up either, but I wouldn't ever wear it done up... its a very flattering cut.

I like both blouses very much. The photo doesn't do justice to the fab print on the second one. I saw it and loved that print. The "scribbles" all over would be even better.
