I was planning to sit it out...lol....that was my plan. But I saw a faux fur coat that I am madly in love with. I hope that it comes in black. I am also loving the leather Le Champ bag.

I'm such a dud. I won't see autumn weather till November or December so I'm sitting it out. I'm in purge mode as well, which makes me not want to shop.
Your faux fur sounds dreamy for your climate. You need a little glamour for those long, cold winters. Faux fur is really warm too, isn't it?

I'm going to order the purple halogen coat ASAP and hope it hasn't sold out yet! Also a sweater or two that others have posted, depending on price.

Lol! Sit it out? You are too funny:) I hope the faux fur coat works out! I think it would be a fun piece in your climate. This year NAS starts (for non cardholders)on my birthday! That's kind of a fun coincidence. Honestly, I'm most looking forward to reading Angie's NAS post. I don't really need anything since I've been shopping the summer sales but I like the Munro Abbey sandals. Not sure what the NAS price is but I'm hoping they come in under my birthday budget:)

I would love to go crazy --- no, check that. I'd like to buy items that would help me have a more fabulous wardrobe that really works for my life. However, I find July a little early in the season to make the shift to fall/winter, and I have far less money in the summer (8 month contract). If I participate, it will be on a small scale.

I'm trying to be very focused on wardrobe holes, plus I have a bunch of stuff to take back before I can really buy much else. I'm hoping to do that tomorrow. I did order a pair of brown Sam Edelman booties, but my criteria are very specific: if they don't fit perfectly and fulfill my comfort requirements, back they go. I have my eye on one or two of the Eileen Fisher pieces and that's about it.

I would love to actually go to a Nordies but it is not in the cards for
me -- so online it is. At this exact moment I have downshifted a bit so
am only intending to purchase the black suede Vince sneakers and Hue
black leatherette leggings. But I am could possibly be tempted by the right booties or coat, too.

Well, yikes. I ordered 12 things! They came today. I'll have to try them on tomorrow. The Vince sweatshirt is the only thing that right off the bat was a no. The fabric felt awful.

I'll go have a look this weekend. I'm trying to write a short list to give the appearance of focused shopping :). I've seen several items purchased by fabers that I really like, but it will depend on their price. I'm on the lookout for a gray/charcoal knit blazer that is not too short. Will try on the striped VC skirt in Petite if available. Would love a pair of dark wash flare jeans too. Metallic or bone color stacked heel or wedge sandals. Mmm I see my short list is already materializing, thanks for the prompt!

Except for boots, a down coat and the VC leopard tube skirt, some of which haven't arrived yet, I'm waiting for Angie's picks and those picks will depend on how much of my order I keep. It will be November before I can wear anything for cold weather anyway.

Joy it is so muggy here right now that I cannot imagine ever wearing pants or a coat again ! As my husband pointed out, we will have warm weather through mid September so we will be getting chilly long before you do.

I'm looking forward to the Angie lists. I always pick up long sleeve t's for layering, lingerie wash, PJ's, and bras. After that it's what catches my eye.

I applied for a Nordstrom card because I couldn't wait for Friday! I ended up ordering a Topshop midi skirt and matching crop top (2 piece dress?), a pair of EF silk pants (not on sale, but if they are perfect, I don't care), and a pair of Halogen track pants. I almost bought some low heeled caramel booties, then I looked in my closet and guess what - I had purchased some last spring (I am so bad). I will look at Angie's picks to see if there is anything else I "need". But hoping I don't see anything that tempts me.
