NAS - I went, I bought, I'm grounded!

Last year, I couldn't find anything I wanted to spend the money on. This year I thought it would be the same. I was wrong. Here's what I bought:

I placed an order for the Michael Kors trench coat in black.

I thought I would not like it in person. WRONG! Had to have it! I also figured out a fourth way to wear it...as an edgy headband.

I figured on my feet, the shaft would be too big or too short or too something. WRONG! I bought it!

The Dansko Sissy in Berry Gecko were not on sale, but I tried them on and they are my comfy substitute for Clarks Wellfleet! So another purchase made.

I had to tear myself away from the store so that I wouldn't buy anything else. However, I went to JCPenney and found my favorite comfy summer dress purchase so far! I went up one size in case of shrinkage and I also wanted a cool, loose fit.

So now I've spent more than I had budgeted and I'm grounding myself from shopping until September. : (

AJ, you look fantastic! I LOVE that hat on you. The boots bookend quite nicely with it too. You did very well at NAS ~ great purchases all around. I bought the same trench coat too during presale and can't wait to receive it. It fits like a dream ~ I love Nordstrom now for their petite stuff. I doubt I'll wear the trench as well as you though; always love seeing your stylish pics!

Glad you like the bracelet. Wearing it as a headband is a brilliant idea. Let's see...one accessory, four ways...that makes it like $6 a wearing. Maybe we don't need to stand in the corner at all!

You did great AJ. I love all of the things that you got. I do think the sale is good this year. My first impression of it was not as promising but as it went on I found more, and more, and more. Now I need to ground myself too!

San - After I came home from NAS, I checked online to see if I could get the Dansko Sissy at a better price since they were not on sale at the time and I found it here with lots more options!

So I returned my pair and ordered the brown braided and the berry Gecko since I couldn't decide between practical brown or a fun red. They just arrived today and I'll take pics tomorrow. If I'm in love with them both, then I'll declare one an early birthday present which should relieve my hubby from having to buy me something...at least I hope he will feel that way. : )
