It seems like it took forever to get all of my items but they've finally arrived. Just one thing I ordered ended up getting cancelled, the Nic + Zoe burgundy fringe jacket (find 1). I did another post of the things that were misses for me. This one is a round up of the keepers!
I've mentioned that I changed jobs several months ago and my wardrobe now needs to be a little more professional/dressy than what I've worn previously. In my closet, I now have a greater distinction between work and casual wear and I'm kind of liking it.
So my focus for this NAS was work wear. Several of Angie's picks are Susie picks too! The 2 longer jackets are both winners- Halogen double breasted navy pinstripe and the Vince Camuto black and white houndstooth. AND I got the matching pants for both of them. (No find for the VC.) I don't know that I will necessarily wear them as suits but it's a nice option.
Another top pick is the Halogen gray leather jacket. Ok, this one doesn't go to work as easily as a blazer but it's such a pretty shade of gray! The sleeves are too long but without zippers that's an easy enough alteration.
I previously posted that I am keeping the Franco Sarto flats in the navy tweed fabric. Witchy fabness as Thistle said
I did really well with pants, adding several pairs including 2 top picks: the KUT plaid skinnies and the Vince black trousers, which are a beautiful fabric. Since I have once again embraced my love of black pants, I am also keeping these black floral jeans by Lafayette 148 (no find)

I had similar black jeans in the past and wore them a ton so I was excited to get these. One more black pair is this tuxedo stripe from Eileen Fisher:

One more thing under consideration is the 1.STATE booties in burgundy.

I ordered 2 sizes and definitely need the smaller of the two. They fit well, are comfortable, and the leather seems nice. There's a little gap around the ankle so I want to try them on with some pants to make sure they work.
There were a few other things I liked and considered keeping (scarf, more casual sweaters, a watch) but decided my budget was best used for work clothes, especially since some will work well casually too. There weren't any handbags that I had to have this year and I certainly have plenty. I should be ok with coats, though I don't have anything in navy which is why I am tempted to try the Derek Lam ink moto coat.I believe Angie said it could work on petites....has anyone tried it?
I don't want to wish away summer but now I am anxious for cooler weather!
