ETA: W&W pants are a slam dunk! Last two photos are the pants and top and the whole combo.
My mom has a friend's 90th birthday to attend in September. She's always cold - even when it's sweltering so she would like to wear pants and a sweater or long sleeve. She expects everyone will be dressed up or at least - not in jeans. Lace up sneakers are what we're building the outfit around. I'm not sure she'll go for the metallic ones but worst case, she can wear her Sketchers since I don't think much of her shoe will show.  With all of my parent's doctors appointments, I don't have a lot of free time these days outside of work (and she would not be able to go to the mall) so I'm thinking of ordering the outfit below. I'm open to suggestions. I'm also attaching a photo of us - me for scale. I'm about a size 6 these days. I expect she's a 0P or 00P. Do you think this will work? I also have a metallic sweater from BR that might work for her. I'm going to look for it if we can get the pants to fit and if she likes them.  All of her dressy clothes were donated since they were all too big and looked dated...  I really like the poly blouse that was one of Angie's top picks but she prefers knits.  Suggestions welcome!
