My daughters' cousin is getting married Labor Day weekend and the wedding will be in their home town in PA at a nice hotel.
My younger daughter is 26 and she is my outdoorsy, 'granola,' camp director who likes clothes but doesn't see them as very important and usually can't be bothered with shopping. But she has a lovely very hourglass figure and looks so pretty in dresses. She has a great selection of them too, which is good since she is at the age where she has had numerous weddings to attend the last couple of years.
My older daughter is 28 and shares my love of clothes. We tend to favor similar styles and colors but as a stay at home mom her wardrobe is primarily casual. She likes more edgy and fairly simple looks..and has tattoos that give any style an edge!
Anyway, when we were together yesterday, we were looking at dresses she could wear to her cousin's wedding. She doesn't like to be too bare- if she is showing shoulders/cleavage, she wants a longer length. If she is baring her legs, she doesn't want a revealing neckline. I had come across this dress when looking several days ago and had to share it with her. We both agreed it's perfect for an end of summer wedding- a dressy look in an interesting fabric yet an easy style in a color that is very her. And come fall, she can wear it over leggings and/or with her leather jacket. So Mom treated her to the dress, and as a surprise added this necklace which she loved too....I received mine on Thursday and wore it on Friday!
