Hi, I haven't posted in quite some time due to crazy work life, but enjoy keeping up with the forum when I can.

I had my NAS appointment this past weekend and was pretty happy with the outcome, with the exception of a few items from the catalog that sold out in the first 3 days. I really hope they restock.

As a curvy petite, my shopping challenges are typically finding regular sized tops/jackets that fit my petite frame and pants/jeans/skirts that fit in hips and don't gap in the waist. This is where my PS saves me a ton of time, plus she remembers what I bought in the past, so we avoid wardrobe duplicates.

Here's a review of the goodies. I hope to get them styled later this week.

1. (Pic 1) Paige Java coated skinny denim- I said I wasn't going to go for the coated denim trend, but these were subtle and fit like a dream in the waist.

2. AG "the Ballad" slim boot cut. The only other premium jeans that fit me this well are Joe's Jeans Honey cut.

3. Halogen tweed pencil skirt. Looked so boring , but sassy fit, relatively inexpensive and a great work basic. True to size.

4. Classiques leather pencil skirt. Preferred this leather quality over the Halogen skirt. I've been on the lookout for a skirt like this for 2+ years, yea! sized down.

5. (Pic 2) Vince silk raisin tunic to wear over the skinnies. Sized down.

6. Vince silk zipper tunic also to wear over the skinnies. On the fence on this one, mostly because two silk tunics to dry clean. Sized down.

7. Theory cobalt silk blouse. The sleeves are a bit long, but I love the bold color and it goes with both skirts. On me, needs a cami with the low neckline. True to size.

8. Halogen teal layering T (I'm still on team purple!) and Halogen teal challis scarf. Sized up.

9. (Pic 3) Halogen Tweed Jacket. The regular 6 fit like a 6 petite.

10. Vince Camuto peasant top. The only petite sized item I took home. Softens the look of the leather skirt. I initially said no because I thought too waist surrendering, but it looked better on and with a long necklace.

11. Vince Camuto red dots. Bold and fun to wear with black or red skirt.

12. Hinge metallic sweater-way, way cuter on. I made a face when the PS showed me, but surprised the rose gold metallic didn't wash me out. Looks great with the Java colored skinnies.

A few items on backorder include the VC houndstooth blouse, black polka dot pin tuck blouse a few YLFers have in ivory, hot pink silk Classiques blouse (was sold out in store) and the Joan and David low pointy pump. I was excited to see these offered in wide widths.

What didn't work:
1) I so wished the McGinn tweed jacket fit, but it was much to overwhelming on my frame. I hope to see this on one of you.

2) The blush leather jacket that Angie purchased was the first thing I tried on. The leather was dreamy, the fit was perfect, but the color was not right for my complexion. I will have to enjoy watching others wear it. I'm sad about this one.

3) In the shoe department, I hoped the tall Frye Trapunto would fit my calves at 15", but they were still too tight. Instead I'm trying out the Cole Haan suede pull on tall boots. These do fit, but trying to decide between the Bordeaux color (much dustier color IRL) and chocolate brown (more saturated).

Thanks!
Briar
