My list for fall/winter '16 tops includes
- a cognac/tan leather jacket
- a silk shell or tee for layering
- a slouchy cashmere or merino pullover
- another low-hip-length cardigan in a neutral color
I haven't searched through the entire sale yet (still need to hit shoes and bags, for sure) and I'm not a cardholder, so I have plenty of time to contemplate, but here's what's caught my eye so far:
Eileen Fisher merino pullovers - Not sure these necklines are open enough for me, but I especially like the longer charcoal gray slouchy pullover. $179-186
LaMarque leather jacket - Not familiar with this brand, but I could see this jacket pairing really well with the black in my wardrobe. This might be my big purchase for the season. $299
Classiques Entier shell - basic viscose/spandex underlayer with a silk overlay, but maybe a little conservative for me. $99
And some wild cards not really on my list:
Halogen long knit vest - I loved my duster sweater last winter, so maybe this might be fun for autumn? $45
Vince Camuto sleeveless cowl - I had one of these that worked for me once, and I keep trying to recreate the magic. No luck so far. $39
BP Cross-front blouse - I just really, really like this, and it's inexpensive, so why not? $32
Ro & De floral blouse - This is 100% polyester, so it almost certainly won't make it into my closet, but I just love that print. Maybe someone else will too? $50
