I have few needs this year but found some fun purchases at the NAS. After having both knees replaced in May, I'm walking like a champ and ready to style again!

1. Rebecca Minkoff embellished sneakers. How fun are these? My husband calls them my Luchador shoes. I'm wearing them now and laughing at a thunderstorm. Fun fact: I ordered them yesterday and they arrived this morning on my doorstep! Nothing else has arrived yet, but these sneaks were fast.

2. Bernardo velvet bomber. I bought the silver. This just looks like it'll be a hoot. I'm a silver fox, so maybe I can pull it off. Or I will look ridiculous.

3. Caslon Twill Peplum Jacket. Blue. Yes, I'm trying some toppers. I'm not sure how this will look on my body, but I live casual, like the vibe, and the color matches my eyes... so I'm giving it a try.

4. Halogen sweater in off-white. I have never ceased mourning a beloved ivory ribbed cashmere sweater. Maybe this purchase will fill the hole.

5. Eileen Fisher pullover in Balsam. I love EF and was disappointed in this year's selection... but this pullover looks like a pretty autumnal shade of green that might suit me. I'm hopeful.

6. Levi's Crop Military Jacket. This may be the bust of the bunch, but Angie called it "cute as chips," and that just sold me. I want to be cute as chips. If the jacket's a fail it will be because the color is too yellow for me, in which case I will send it back, or maybe hand it off to my much younger niece, who would look lovely in it.

I'm still debating several purchases, and looking for a few items to fill wardrobe wants. And I'm sure to purchase things on impulse. Sometimes those are the best ones!
