ETA: CE leather w/o collar, VC jacket NAS decisions, ask Angie and all

I am trying to decide on sizing and shape on some items and I would appreciate your input.
First is the Halogen black-white Betty jacket.
1-3: In size medium regular
4-6: In size medium petite

The sleeves of the regular are too long so I folded them and I think the overall fit is too big for me. Regular small was uncomfortable and I did not take pictures of it.
Medium petite fits better overall and the sleeves are the right length. My only question is would it fit over a thin cashmere turtleneck in colder weather, all my fine woolies are in spacebags at this time.

I think I need to consider petite sizing sometimes, so my next question is about the Classiques Entiers leather jacket.
7-9 and 16: I am wearing regular sizing, up one size for comfort and for ease in fitting a sweater under it. I am wearing it over a not too thick cardigan which is what I will do in colder weather. You can see that the sleeves are long. Do you think I should try the medium petite or just take the jacket for alteration of the sleeves at Nordies? My concern with the petite sizing is that maybe the waist will be much too high for my long torso as it is already a bit high in the regular sizing.

Next are two Nordstrom sweater/ wraps. The first is cashmere and the second is wool-cashmere.
10-12: cashmere.
13-15 and 17: wool-cashmere.
Which one do you think is better for me, proportions-wise? If neither looks good please say so as well.
The pants are the Kuts ponte, waving to Sterling on those.
I will appreciate your honest input.

ETA: as per Angie's request: CE jacket without collar. 18-20.
Also added VC double zipper jacket.
These are not the best pictures, sorry for that.
I went up one size on the VC zipper jacket as well. 21-24. I know that bermuda shorts are not the best for the jacket but that is all I could manage because I ran out of time. Do you think the VC looks too big? If you need to see a better picture I will show you in a different post.

The Halogen jacket all the way in the petite - fits better through the body and in the back in the petite

The winter jacket tough to say since you want to wear sweaters and stuff. Looks big but not super big - I usually buy my jackets with room because it is cold in MN and I want to be able to wear sweater under them and often time toppers for work.

You are a pocket person - said with all love and affection and the second one is wearing you not you wear it. it looks like something you would wrap up in and wear around the house on a cold winter day.

I love the first jacket on you in the petite -- it's really lovely somehow with your colouring and I think it could be a workhorse! Definitely go for the petite medium.

The Classiques jacket is also stunning. I am not sure what to say about the size and I hope someone who has tried both options will chime in. In this photo, assuming alterations to the sleeves, the fit looks good to me -- but it's really hard to tell with darker items, even in great daylight pics like yours!

I prefer the first wrap to the second since the second one seems to cocoon you a little too much!

I agree that the petite in the first jacket looks like a perfect fit. In the leather, I would stick with the size you have on in the photos. As you mentioned, a petite would be shorter in the body as well as the sleeves, and it doesn't look like that would be ideal in the torso. The back vent seems to be at the right level, and I agree that the waist would be off in the petite. With a sleeve alteration it should be perfect.

I agree the first jacket is great in the petite version. I think it will work over a thin cashmere layer. You might not want to wear it zipped anyway, over a sweater.
The leather jacket looks like a good fit other than the sleeve length. I don't see a need to try a different size.
I prefer the first sweater to the second, because of the shaped hem. The second sweater seems a bit big and bulky on you.

The Halogen jacket in petite for sure, looks great on you. The leather jacket seems to fit fine across the shoulders and the body length, but you will need a sleeve alteration. I think you would still have to have the sleeves altered if you went with the petite size but you might want to try it. I prefer the first cashmere sweater but wonder if you should try a size smaller.

The Halogen jacket in petite is a winner. Love the leather jacket, and with the sleeves a little shorter, it should be perfect.

I'm not loving either sweater on you. It's hard to wear these oversized sweaters as a petite, as to my eye they can be overwhelming.

I've tried Classiques moto in both regular and petite sizing. Just like you, the regular is a good fit but the sleeves are too long (and a bit too wide). Unfortunately the petite was *very* petite, and the sleeves were too short as was the body length. I'm planning on having Nordstrom alter the sleeves on the regular; could you do the same?

I think you're on track with both jackets.

Neither cardigan really does you justice bs I agree these overwhelm your petite frame.
It may help to know what you're going for. Need something softer and cozier than the structured jackets? Maybe a more petite length high- low cardi, or a soft bomber-style jacket.

I like the first jacket (Halogen) in the petite medium size. I wouldn't go with a petite in the other jacket though if you are worried about the waist. The regular size looks good if you can fix the sleeves. In the pictures, both cardigans seem to overwhelm you (especially #13/14) so I vote pass on them. Of course, things look different in real life

Beth, I will have to do the same as you, go to Nordstroms' alterations dept. Hopefully they will do a good job, otherwise they will make good on it.
Let us know how things go with your alterations, I will do the same although I will not take it there until September due to lack of time.
The cashmere cardis/wraps do look a bit overwhelming on me. I am looking for something soft and oversized in cashmere to trap air and keep me warm and cosy in Winter.
Last year I got the Pure Amici V-neck sweater but I did not get the cardigan and I am very sorry I didn't.
Firecracker, I also like the high-low hem of the first wrap but it folds too much on the sides under the arms.
I see what you are all saying about them being too much for me.
I will return the second cardi and hold on to the first for a week or so but I will probably return it as well.
If you have suggestions about a good grey wrap for Winter I would love to hear them.

I will show you the jacket without the shearling in a little bit. That really looks like fur and not shearling.
Can shearling look like fur? Is there something I don't know about that?
I thought shearling was a lumpy and soft undercoat but the one on the jacket is more like hair/fur. I prefer shearling btw, as I don't want poor animals to be killed just for their fur.
They need their fur more than I do.

I added above, at the end of the series, pictures of the CE without the shearling collar and also of the VC double zipper blazer for your opinions.
Those are the best picts we could get at this time, sorry that they are not styled.
If you think they do not work out please let me know.

Can you try the CE jacket over a layering of summer shirts just to give you the thickness of a cashmere sweater?

I agree that the cardigans overwhelm you. I am short and have the same problem.

I don't know much about shearling Joyce, other than that real shearling is very warm and expensive.
