NAS dates this year?

Anyone know when it's going to be? I'm afraid I'll still be in Banff and unable to take advantage of it! I was looking forward to a road trip with Sveta!

Suz, are you still in? Oh gosh, I thought you are too busy and did not want to ask you and get you upset
It usually starts mid-July and ends by the beginning of August - but I hope Jenava or Marianna will chime in with more accurate information.
You know, we were discussing with Jonesy to meet in Troy during NAS - amd maybe bj1111 too... We will make a YLF get-together out of this!

Preselect starts July 11th! I think the sale ends Aug 5th.

I know! It's late this year:

Official Sale starts on 20th July. Presales start on the 11th July. There are fewer days of presales this year, and you will not be able to PRE shop the sale without a Nordies card.

Just an FYI - Nordstrom has their "mod card" which is not a credit card but links directly to your checking account. As I understand it (but you should confirm if this is an issue for you) applying for the mod card does not require a credit check. Personally, I like it because it keeps me honest - money's gotta be in the bank to cover it! You get all of the same perks and benefits as their credit card.

Christy is right about the Nordstrom debit card -- there is no credit check, just a light "identity" verification. The debit has the same exact perks as the credit card. If you spend $100 the day you open the card, you automatically earn a $20 Nordstrom Note (like gift certificates to use at the store). All the Nordstrom cards come with complimentary alterations and tons of other perks too.

Sveta, I can't remember if you can preselect online but I will find out.

Mona, we have not talked about dates yet. I want to order online shoes and get them delivered to the store before I come - otherwise it is a slim hope to get what I need. If I can pre-order online I may come to the beginning of the sale but if I need to wait until NAS starts then it would be closer to its end (last year we were there on the second to last day).

Oy. I get back to Ontario on July 31. And I think I might have to spend a few days with my family then, LOL. So it does look as if I will miss this trip. But PLEASE keep me posted about when you are going. I would so love to do it.

I am not sure we can get Nordie's cards in Canada, can we?

I would LOVE to be part of this YLF get-together too. I live 15-20 min. from this Nordstrom store. Suz, it would be fantastic if you could make it as well!

Suz, I got Nordie's card and if you want you can pre-order something with it (if it works online) and maybe if you get back on July 31 we can go to Troy next weekend? After all your family will have you for whole 3 days and then for the rest of the year
