I had a feeling I couldn't link to it directly. I'm sorry JR. If you go to nordstrom.com, the fourth item on the front page says "Anniversary Sale starts July 20". Click through, and on the next page you can click on the catalogue "Browse the catalog".

Oh my GAWRSH! Thanks, Inge. I am gonna be broke!!! I found at least three things I really want in there, and about 50 more that I am infatuated with.

Especially the red plaid fballet flats with the little buckles. Dang, they are cute! Ever since my red plaid lunchbox at the age of six, with matching thermos, I have yearned for red plaid in the fall.

Going to shop my closet and see what wardrobe holes might need pluggin'!

I'm so pumped. My mom, sister, and I are making a girls' night out at our NAS appointment on Thursday night. My sister and I have done this together the past two years and have had a blast - the three of us shop very well together.

And to boot, I got a promo email from a customer service coordinator offering me $50 if I schedule an appointment with a sales associate, so I was able to apply that credit towards my NAS appointment. Which effectively means that I get a free bra. Woohoo!

Yes...same here - I just checked and got the same message that the entire Nordstrom site is down right now while the prepare for 'early access' for the NAS.

In the meantime, I got a nice paper NAS catalogue in the mail today. That said, there's only a few things in it that I'm liking. Can't wait to see the whole sale, and most importantly - what Angie ends up suggesting as her Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks. To me, that's better than *any* catalogue.

Good luck to those with early access, pre-sale appts. and so on. Have fun! Can't wait to see what everyone finds

If you have a Nordstrom card you can now log in to the sale online. (up in right corner) they did not send a special code, you just need your last 4 digits of your cc, name and zipcode

I agree that not much is jumping out at me either. That said, I found two beautiful pairs of boots and one bootie. Do I need them? Probably not. Will think on it. But looking forward to Angie's picks nonetheless!

Got at 5AM to place an order. Honestly, I am so disappointed! I have got a catalog in the mail but thereare things which were in the catalog but not online at all including Cole Haan and SW tall boots, Steve Madden loafers, Frye Melissa bots in black, Franco Sarto flats in fun colors... Why do they do this? They could not have been all gone by 5AM in all sizes, could they?

Oh well...just needed to vent.

How frustrating, Sveta! I'm so sorry. And quite strange too, I would expect to see all the catalogue items to be on the website right now. Even if an item is sold out already, you should at least be able to find the product page, and have access to the info and item descriptions?

Thanks for the link Inge. I don't have a Nordie's card so I have to wait and shop after pre select is over. But I've been really curious what's going to be available. As a lover of all things blue I adore the blue coat on page 6, Mackage Knit and Leather Trim Coat, the blue Kate Spade satchel on page 12, the Report Woods boot on page 23, and the Tarnish color blocks scarf on page 33.

The website seems to be working much better! I already ordered some items. There was an Eliza J dress that was screaming my name, and a pair of SW ballet flats, and an argyle Trouve sweater - and now I will wait for presale to look for stuff for my boys and Andy. And I am excited to see what Angie picks!

I'm going to try to be restrained about NAS buying since I don't really need anything for fall...but those python booties are pretty cool.

Sveta, I'm so sorry that so many shoes weren't on line! Maybe theres a hope that will increase the chance of something being in store when you get there...

I logged onto the site this morning and added all the shoes I'm interested in to my wish list so I can show my sales person when I shop tomorrow. My personal disappointment was the lack of plus size dresss, but maybe there will be something in the store.

So annoyed. I have a temporary card so I can't access the sale. 17 minute hold time with cc services to get some sort of number (I hope)

Followup: CC services can't give me the account number over the phone. Also, they can't give me a temporary access code without having the account number. If I go to the store and show ID, the salesperson can call CC services to get the account number for me.

I feel like the salesperson did not act in my best interests by not calling to get the account number for me when I opened the card and lying to me about my ability to call and get the number myself.

Well, I placed my order from the smaller selection which was there at 5:30 AM. Then I decided to look again around 7:00 AM and number of available footwear styles doubled online! I wonder if early in the morning they were still updating their website - need to order more in the evening!

Great link, Inge, and it's working for me. It takes a few seconds to load. I'm loving what I'm seeing! I'm adoring some of those gorgeous chestnut boots and tan boots. So many wonderful, vivid colors in clothes, too!

Update again: Found a customer service person who would give me my cc number over the phone. Still can't access the site online though - they told me it was down right now.

Is it working for anyone else?
