NAS catalog with early access-once again, confused

Okay, so I got the NAS early access code and catalog. Now what? I read the directions but does the early access start July 5th? And what do you do if you don't have a sales associate at the store you shop to regularly help you? And do you have to go in early (to the store) to get early access? I've never bothered with this because, frankly, I didn't understand it and didn't know what to do, as well as the fact that I live 1.5 hours away from my nearest Nordstroms. This year, I have you ladies to ask about this! Thanks...

You don't need a specific sales associate. You can just go in any time during the preselection week and as long as you have a Nordstrom card, you can shop early access. Any available sales person will be happy to help. If you dont have a Nordstrom card you can open one before you shop.

I just had a very quick peek because I also received an early access code. Let's just say that I am impressed

There is A LOT to work through though. You might feel overwhelmed, so it's a good idea to navigate through the items over and over again. I will start guiding people on the main blog from the 15th onwards. I will be pre-selecting with clients from the 5th onwards.

I'm so excited! I'm taking a red eye flight back home so I can preselect as early as possible.
Then I always go back to the store once the sale starts. And browse online.

I haven't seen any sneak peeks, though.

So I can browse online now? Haven't figured that part out yet, but I saw a couple of interesting items in the catalog. Then, I can go into the Scottsdale store any day between now and the beginning of the sale....and then they'll ship the items I picked to me since I don't live there? See what I mean. I am still not understanding.

The big news this year is that you can take your items home with you! So they won't have to be shipped.

I think you can browse online if you were sent a special link. Not quite sure because I didn't get the email! But that's what I'm gathering. I'd call Scottsdale to make sure they have the items you're eyeing. If they don't have them in the store they can order them for you.

I'm happy to help if you (or anyone!) needs any help. I used to work at the Scottsdale store but will be in a Chicago store for the sale and onward.

SW Ann, did you get a code that allows you to log in to preview all the items online? That's different from the print sale catalog. If so (and the online preview of all items is new this year), then you will be able to see all of the NAS items now. You will only be able to order them starting July 5 (when the presale starts for cardholders) but you can order them two ways ~ by having an appointment with an SA or shopper at a local store, or by phone (for those not near a store). The sale officially starts on July 15, when anyone (not just cardholders) can order, and when everything is available for online purchasing.

During the presale, if the item you want is in stock at that store, you get to take it home right then. If they don't have your size/color/model in stock, they put in the order for you (there is a chance that a particular size/color/model will be very popular and not everyone who orders it will get it).

Marianna, that's a great tip ~ I will check with my store to see if they will have some of the items I'm interested in stock. I just sent off my wishlist to my shopper earlier today.

I appreciate everyone chiming in to help with this--I did receive an early access code but don't really understand how to use it....I attempted it this morning but got nowhere so I thought I was just too early. Sometimes, technology really confounds me

In that case, just give Nordstrom Credit Services a call and they can walk you through the process of logging on for the early access.

Thanks to everyone who gave me some ideas on NAS early access--called the customer service line and was told that there was NO access until July 5--even with the code. So, no wonder I couldn't figure it out!

FWIW, I have been checking my email today and NO code

So I called Cust Svc and she gave me the address and my code

I do have a Nordstrom card and usually get their normal emails, so I still don't know why I hadn't received it, but Cust Svc said everyone who is getting the email should get it today (whatever time that may be. . .). So it may take a phone call!

I've spent a good part of the morning browsing online after finding my code this a.m. Those of us with small calf sizes can rejoice in some of the boots being offered. Angie, do we need to adjust our eyes to boxy tops this fall? I can't wait to see your picks.
If items are not available at our own Nordies for viewing in person, will they order them or is it better to do it yourself?
