NAS boyfriend vest

Has anyone seen or tried the boyfriend vest (shown in the Nordstrom sale catalog) in person yet? I have all kinds of ideas about how to wear it, but wonder if it will live up to expectations when I try it. It's so dang hot here -- I like the idea of a vest vs. jacket...

I did not see it, Kyle. But you should try it for sure.

I tried the VW boots and so did Sandy. They weren’t very comfortable and I’d have liked them knee-length. Personally, I prefer boots to be slouchy when they are calf length.

I have not tried the boyfriend vest...yet.

I did try the cropped motorcycle vest, and it looked hot! I do plan on trying more vests, jackets, and sweaters next time. Did I just say that?!?!

I hear ya about the heat. It's hard to even think about Fall/Winter when it's this hot. Ugh...

I'm thinking that the shoe department disappointment is reaching epidemic status. I felt like I needed therapy after that appointment. I'm kind of encouraged to hear that others were underwhelmed by the selection.

Is this the one that comes in grey or black? I was just noticing that one and am tempted to try it. It's the ribbed one, right?

Kyle, I tried a similar vest in cream cotton by Rag and Bone a while back. Sadly it was not a killer item on me due to my shorter height. I'd be all over this one otherwise, and I'm hoping I can enjoy it on you. I think you could wear it with a graphic tee and a ruffly or not sleeveless blouse. I doubt my Nordstrom will have this item, but I'll still try it on if they do.
