Hi,

Only one shoe caught my eye at NAS this year.

It's an Angie NAS pick.
Clarks® 'Rosepoint Dew' Bootie

This is the black suede. I haven't tried a heel this high in a couple years and it is really comfy. Also I feel very stable with the wedge heel.

Now I just need to figure out how to style them. They seem to cute to hide underneath my bootcut jeans.

Wear with your new Mural jacket!

Seriously, I'd wear them with lots of outfits. I am surprised you didn't order blue, though. What made you choose the black?

Suz-I don't own any skirts but I plan to wear these with work dresses and my work wardrobe core color is only black. There is a blue one? I only saw the black and a brownish color online.

Love these on you! I like the black, too, if your core color is black. Definitely wear them with skirts/dresses and with rolled up jeans if you have any!

There was an online only blue one, yes.

I know because I was very tempted. (I also have a heavily blue wardrobe, as you know!)

I resisted, which isn't saying much because I ordered such a slew of other stuff it's almost crazy! Not that I will keep it all, or even most of it. But even so.

These look very similar to a dark grey pair of Clarks that I picked up in England a year ago. Usually I avoid this heel height because of my wonky knees, but I had no problems stomping around in these babies for 6-8 hours at a stretch.

I wore mine with skirts, straight and flared jeans, dress pants, and, much to my surprise, even skinnies. Usually my big feet look weird in booties when I wear skinnies, but the wedge seemed to make it work. I might try them with my rolled up, slouchy khakis this fall.

They are great! I admired them at the sale, too. They will be great with dresses, especially dresses and tights. Also skinny jeans, trousers with tapered legs (a la the new track pants trend or tapered slouchy pants).

It's nice to see you being able to wear a heel again, Lisa! That means your feet are back to normal after the surgeries. Try them with your straight leg jeans.

I have two very similar pairs of lace up black suede booties- one is a wedge and one has a heel. I think I forgot I had one of them when I saw the other! I love them, obviously! And I wore them so much that it's worth having both! I wore them primarily with jeans, from skinny to straight to boyfriend.

Suz, thank you for showing the blue! Since another blue bootie didn't work for me, I think I will order this one. The more casual style might be better for me anyway.

Suz-I also have ordered a lot of items from NAS. And I am keeping quite a bit. I am going to have a lot of donated items after I finish sorting my NAS purchases otherwise I will flood my closet with too many new things!

Angie-Yes, it looks like I can finally do heels, just not everyday. I ordered a pair of BF jeans to try out with these booties.

Carole and Thistle-Thanks for pointing out the heel. That was my first concern. These will not be daily shoes, the heel is too high. But I noticed a wardrobe hole for business meetings and special occasions last season. My black trouser flats don't work well in cold months so I am hoping these will fit that need. I am also looking at flatter heeled options for more daily use.

Susie-It's great to hear that the suede bootie is versatile! Please show us the blue one when you get it!
