Anyone else looking forward to seeing the catalog online, etc. and seeing the items, in person, even though they don’t have much luck at NAS?

I always look forward to the NAS. It's a Seattle company, a Seattle tradition, and I live in Seattle! Lived here for almost 19 years, and this is my 18th NAS. It kicks off Fall and Winter wardrobe planning and shopping

All client apps are lined up and booked. But not working on July 9th and 10th. So by choice, fewer client apps this year. I'm greatly looking forward to NOT overdoing it like I usually do. I've earned it!

I keep my expectations very low - and roll with the punches. Some NAS's are better than others. I had the BEST NAS ever last year - so this year can't hope to top it!

Some interesting insider info because we do affiliate business with Nordstrom. They have severely shortened the cardholders time to shop exclusively. The sale is open to the public much sooner this year. ICONS only have one exclusive day to shop, and last year they had three. This is GREAT news! And popular items will be restocked later. Lots of new brands participating too.

Curious to see the assortment on Wednesday!

I can hardly believe it's that time of year again! I need nothing new but love perusing the sale and seeing Angie's picks. Everyone's keep and return posts are super fun too. I think last year I bought sunscreen and a Tumi crossbody (still going strong.) Hope everyone finds what they're looking for!

Suntiger, yes, hopefully the sale will run much smoother this year. And what a good idea to start thinking about what I need and want now, while leaving room to be surprised.

Kellygirl, great attitude with not that much acquired during NAS. I think I need to stop judging my NAS by number of items kept. I am on my second Longchamp tote, which is a workhorse.

I love NAS all the way from Australia! I don't actively participate in buying things, but NAS and Angie's top picks really helps to see what the seasonal trends are. I did indulge in an Angie pick from 2017 and still love that jacket, (in Finds) so never say never....

My favourite NAS post was when Suz and Angie went shopping together!

This really is great news. I had the most disappointing NAS ever last year, because everything on my wishlist went out of stock within 2 days of the sale starting, and 90% never came back in stock. It was really not fun since I couldn't even try things.

Kkards and Runcarla, and Bijou, you all like to see the trends. I remember the year I bought boots with tassels, which were trending. I remember I also thought the tassels would be easy to remove if they went out of style.

I always enjoy seeing the offerings. Two years ago, I had a fabulous NAS for housewares and items for my husband and kids, which was completely unexpected.

so interesting to hear they've reduced the card holder exclusive days especially for icons. I agree with what Ginger said, last year was frustrating if you weren't able to shop on that very first day (and I'm a cardholder with pretty good access!) Maybe there was backlash from what felt a bit like an influencer takeover? We don't have a Nordstrom nearby but I will be traveling near on during the sale (but not at the beginning), it was fun to get shop in person last year so I hope it works out again this year.

I got an email saying I get access July 13 - it implies that this is true even though I’m not a cardholder but it is confusing. Anyone else?

I also just realized I’ll be traveling for work then, through the 20th. So, no way I can check things out in person at my usual Nordstrom. I’ll be passing through a city July 15-16, so I guess I could stop at the Nordstrom near there. But then I’d have to pack things to carry back. Looks like online is a better bet for me this year, but I’d much rather try the expensive things on instead of ordering and returning.

Nope, not looking forward to it at all and have no plans to shop, even with the “early” privileges. I expect to enjoy all of the purchases showcased on YLF, though. Love seeing your purchases and outfits.

That was my understanding too - this message shows up when I visit the website but maybe it’s another enticement to become a cardholder. I’m hardly a top customer but I did buy a pair of lovely Ganni boots this winter so maybe I crossed some small threshold.

I am looking forward to it. Last year I was only able to get two items but they were two of my favorite things. So all was good. I am looking through everything hoping to find some transition wear.
