My first shipment arrived and I'm happy to say there's a lot in the box I'm excited about. There was also enough for me to return so I don't have nightmares about how much I've spent.

I'm returning both pairs of shoes I ordered.

The Louise et Cie oxfords are unbelievably good looking, but they are *very* narrow and stiff.

The Halogen Ghillie flats feel ok on the foot, except the sole is extremely thin and they squeaked when I walk.

I'm also returning the Majestic Designer turtlenecks. The neck was too tight for me and I have a scrawny neck. I may try out the turtleneck Angie recommended.

I've decided against the Halogen® Bouclé & Knit Drape Collar Jacket. I wasn't impressed with its construction. The sleeve fabric was very thin. I bought the wrong size, but even if I sized down, I don't think it would be flattering on me.

I've also decided against the Halogen® Cascade Front Jacket. It's nicer than the bouclé one, but I'd have to size down and I'm just not sure it looks good on me.

I'm going to be blunt about the next item. The Halogen® Asymmetrical Zip Pencil Skirt looks good in the product photos, but I think it's a disaster. The fabric is icky. It shows off every lump and bump and just feels nasty.

As Thistle noted, the Halogen® Asymmetrical Wool & Cashmere Sweater isn't all that flattering on pear shaped ladies. She's right.

I was disappointed when I tried on the MICHAEL Michael Kors Plaid Wool Blend Coat. It's made very nicely. It's not flattering enough on me, though, so it's going back.

That long vest won't sit properly on my shoulders and makes me look wider all the way down.
