Or maybe so that you do!

Here are some things I tried on that did NOT go home with me for various reasons. I thought some of you might like to see them on a non-model body.

1 Ted Baker dress -- this is two sizes up from my usual TB size, since this was all they had. I actually think that in a size down I could have the shoulder and torso altered because I think the hip would fit. But it's a lovely dress for quite a good price for TB, IMO. Great length!

2 Missoni dress. I actually really like this, just not $700 worth of like.

3 Kenneth Cole faux fur coat. Reminds me of something my mom had in the 60s, so I tried it. The hem hangs funny. Cozy and soft though. Not a very heavy topper.

4-6 Autumn Cashmere topper. Fun piece that works in a few different ways. I just felt like it was a bit too much fabric and fuss for me personally. I could see some fabbers rocking it though.

7 Halogen floral sweater. I really like this, but all they had was a M petite, so this is short on me, especially in the sleeves. Would consider ordering the regular size online. This is so much prettier than the stock photos show!

Also in 7 - AG Stilt jeans. Ok but not the most flattering. Too short on me.

8 Halogen flared leather midi skirt. Nice but didn't wow me. Plus I swore no more skirts because I need to wear the ones I have. A scratch in the leather gave me pause. Might run just a wee bit small.

9-10 Halogen asymmetrical leather skirt. Again, nice but not enough to make me break my no-skirt rule.

11-12 Stuart Weitzman booties. Really nice, good taupe-y grey color, nice low heel, and TTS. Just not really what I need now.

13 Vince dress. This is sized up because my usual size was more bodycon than I want. This could be altered in the top to work for me, but I'm not sure it's worth it to me. Maybe if it were a V-neck. It's a nice weight though and quite comfy.

I didn't get a close up picture, but the Rag & Bone booties (in pic 7) are great looking and so comfy, but they are slip-ons and a bear to get on my feet! And I have low-ish volume feet. Anyone with a high instep need not bother with them.

Hope this was helpful to someone!

I'll post my purchases in a separate post.
