I've been wanting a classic, leather moto for some time and finally decided that this NAS was the year to start looking. I'm doing all my shopping on line so it is tedious to say the least... so please help before I get frustrated and just send them all back!! My requirements are that the leather is soft and that I can layer sweaters underneath. I see wearing this extensively in the fall and spring and maybe even occasionally in the winter if we have a mild winter. I do want it to be outdoor weight but will probably wear it indoors a lot since I run cold and wear an extra layer most days. My expectation is for a black moto although I am open to another classic color like blue or burgundy. But of course black is the easiest to find. I've received most of what I've ordered and only had time for a quick try on. I tried them on with a thin Tshirt but it was obvious with some of them that I was not going to be able to layer more than that so I have already ordered the next size up in some of these styles.

1-4 LaMarque jacket in blue - I love that this jacket is blue. But it immediately felt too snug and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to layer underneath. Looking at the pictures maybe I should give it another whirl. This is a small and I didn't order the next size up because I was afraid the sleeves would be way too long.
5-9 Via Spiga mixed media - I really love the polished style of this jacket as well as the interest of the mixed media. It it too tight through the shoulders and I could barely zip it up. This is the PS and I have the PM ordered.
10-14 - BLANKNYC bomber jacket - this is a wild card and wouldn't necessarily take the place of a moto jacket. I can always use more jackets in my climate and I was impressed with this one for the price. This is a S and I ordered the M in gray just for comparison. Even in the small it felt comfortable but I think I might need a M to layer.
15-19 Ted Baker biker jacket - beautiful jacket. I was afraid I wasn't going to like the rose hardware but I do. I would say this is a little bit lighter weight than some of the others. This felt too tight in the elbows when I bent them. Does that stretch out? This is a 2 I ordered the 3 for comparison. Ultimately I'm not sure that this is what I'm looking for but it's so beautiful that I had to give it another shot.
20-23 Treasure & Bond moto - this really was the only moto jacket that didn't immediately feel restricting and that it might be the right size. This is a S. It's not as polished as some of the other styles so I'll have to decide if that's a deal breaker for me but I don't think it is.
24-25 BLANKNY velvet band jacket - another wild card. My 80's loving heart went pitter patter over this jacket. This is the small. It feels good over a thin T which is probably how I'd wear it. I can't wear it closed in the size although I'm not sure I would. I did order the M for comparison. I think the sleeves would have to be hemmed which looks like it's possible. Would I get much wear out of it? Does it matter?

26-29 Thahari in burgundy. Arrived and I tried it on really quickly on my lunch break. Too big in a S I think. Although maybe not with layers? I do like the color.

If you've read this far THANK YOU! I know I need to try these on with layers but I also knew right off that I wouldn't be able to do that with some of them.
