As you all know, Canadian NAS pales in comparison to the American one. Only a few items attracted my attention.
Fist order:
- Angie’s pick Nordstrom long wool cardigan (wanted a grey one, they didn’t have it in my size, ordered in black)
- Cream Nike sneakers
- Black Nike sneakers
Sneakers were canceled. Got a black cardi and don’t like it.

Second order:
A cardigan in grey and cream sneakers become available and I ordered them.

Got it today. Sneakers are comfortable but lighter in color than expected. Afraid they might look like a duplicate of my white sneakers.
Like the cardigan fit and color but unsure if it looks too blah. Is it versatile enough or maybe I should look for an outwear piece instead?

I had a busy last week and didn’t try the cardigan again until today. Once I put it on, unstyled so I can concentrate on the fit, I noticed that the pockets are sagging already. Lisa P mentioned it in comments. The sagging emphasizes low positioning of pockets on me and will only gets worse with use, so I’m going to return it.

I like both pieces and could see them working in with your closet easily.

I do like the cream sneakers - not sure what your white ones are and how different these are. I have two pairs of white sneakers and the differences are useful - one are better for walking and wet days and one are a bit dressier.

Love that cardigan - great drape abs a nice length on you. I could see it working with a lot on your wardrobe. Could you layer it over your white shirts?

I like the cardigan on you. It is plain, yes, but I don’t think blah, rather it fits the simplicity and elegance I associate with your outfits. However of course if you *feel* blah then don’t keep it!
I like the sneakers but without seeing the other ones can’t tell if they are too similar.

Roxanna, yes, I can wear my white shirts under the cardigan. I’m wearing one in picture #1
Jenni NZ, I like grey color and it works for my wardrobe but I’ve been off it for a few years and recently started to add it again. I’m always unsure when adding a color even if it’s neutral. And it’s a big chunk of grey

I like the cardigan - but pockets that hang open like that are deal breakers for me . It’s something that has always driven me nuts with long cardigans . It looks too stretched out . However - I realize I might be the only one who sees it that way . Can’t see much of a diff between the two sneakers .

I like that color of grey particularly with cognac accessories: any chance you have some lurking in your wardrobe?

Notsaf, nope, not a single thing. A cognac bag and shoes have been on my list forever, they would work so well with navy, olive and camel in my wardrobe. They are HEWIs of mine.

I like the colour of the cardigan especially in #5 with the cream sweater and scarf. I have a similar one in camel and the only problem is its limited usefulness in Ontario. There’s the odd day in September or October when I wear it, but that’s about it.

As far as the sneakers go, they do look very similar.

I like the cardi again, its got some drama…i actually think the black might feel really heavy as the knit seems to have some depth to it.
Re the sneakers they are very similar, but to my eye the Nike have a slightly more athletic feel…

I don't see dull with the cardigan, it's soft drama, and the sneakers are not the same, the older ones are more like Converse, not a fan, and the new ones are more like streamlined athletic, a trend I hope to see more of.

I have to go with keep because I love both outfits.

The long cardi looks lux on you. Have you tried coats over it, but you may not want to wear it that way. I have more than one pair of white sneakers. One more dressy, one perforated for warm weather, one big grandpa style for serious walking. It helps prevent laundry bottlenecks because white sneakers need to be cleaned often.

The sneakers are great… but I admit I can barely tell the different pairs apart in the pics.

I agree the cardigan is fabulous, as are both pairs of sneakers. It is hard to tell them apart in photos, but in reality perhaps there are differences that would make you reach for them at different times?

I take back my comment about the cardigan pockets. It’s only falling open in one side photo - probably because of how you are standing . I love it otherwise .

I think they all look great. I like the drama of the long cardi, which gives it a chic look to me, not boring at all. I have Cole Haan sneakers that look like yours, and I recently bought another pair of white sneakers in a different style. Didn't turn out fantastic in my case, because the new ones--while I really like the style, as an update for me--aren't as comfy as the CH! Like others, I wouldn't dismiss a second pair of white out of hand, but think about whether they serve somewhat different purposes. If you were hoping for a different shade, you might hold out.

I don't know if this pair is available to you in Canada (CH Topspin in Finds) but it is definitely more of a stone color and would be a different look to your current CH pair. I tried it on in store and found the back of the heel is too high for me; definitely a different cut in back than the Grand Pro that I already have.

Was absolutely agog to see how this long cardigan, which I would not give a second thought, looks so stunning on you. Cream sneakers look spiffier than the white and the black are just elegant on you.

Love the cardigan! It looks great on you and styled perfectly. I would think it would be very versatile. I can't tell a lot of difference in the sneakers but if both would be enough wear then they would be worth keeping. I am picky about whites so the off-white would be nice to have.

If I was choosing between two new pairs of sneakers today, I would go with Nike. They look more modern, even my unfashionable DH said so
But I doubt I need two pairs of sneakers in almost the same color. This is still a great lesson for me. I tend to avoid without trying any shoe that looks chunky. I tried these sneakers and liked the look. I will look for a pair in the same style but in a different color.
And I’m going to keep the cardigan.
