nail polish brands

always trying

I need advice on a good nail polish brand. I did not get any last summer as I was in and out of the hospital so much I hardly used any. I only do toes when I wear sandals. We are just now getting into hot season and I need some new polish.

My favorite is Zoya, because they have as many fun colors as the big brands Essie and OPI but are 7 free. I have a formaldehyde allergy so that's a must for me. No nail polish lasts more than a few days on me, but the Zoya does as well as any. Downside, I have to order because no one carries them locally.

Butter London is also nice, and also 7 free, but I never like their colors as well as Zoya.

Opi. I like to change up colours so opt for a 4 pack of minis for the season.

I wear OPI, SpaRitual (Vegan, Cruelty Free & 12 Free) and Esse. I wear the same colours over and over. I don't find a big difference in the wear of the different brands.

I have all kinds, but I agree Zoya is a great one, and bonus, I find the wider brush makes it much easier to apply. My new trick is to topcoat with Sally Hansen's quick dry topcoat - I don't know what chemicals from hell are in that stuff, but it makes my polish last way longer without chipping. (I do think it's a bit drying though so if your nails are dry you may wish to avoid it).
