Patience, HEB carries OPI as well (although not as many colors as ULTA does). It's the same price at HEB and ULTA. I use "Chip Skip" by OPI on clean nails, then a coat of "Start to Finish," which is a base and top coat, and then 2 layers of color, and then a final coat of "Start to Finish." My pedis last for at least 2 weeks. If I paint them a light color that doesn't show chips, I can get away with 3 weeks sometimes. I also use a pumice stick and gently scrape the thin layer of skin off my nail bed and push back my cuticles before I start, that helps a lot.
If you like iridescent color, "Sweetie Pie" is a really pretty light iridescent cream that I always paint on my fingernails because I'm hard on my hands and my manicure chips first. It doesn't show chips too badly if I only use one coat of color. It just looks like I have clean, healthy nails. Another color I really like is "Tutti Frutti Tonga," which is an iridescent coral color, and "Royal Flush Blush" is a nice creamy, iridescent pink (it's on my toes right now). "Nomad's Dream" is one of my all time favorites, it's a taupe color that has an iridescent pink and green sheen to it.
I've seen Chanel nail polish at Nordie's. You have to specifically ask for it though, I don't think they make a big display of it like they do lipsticks and stuff.
