It would seem my inklings were right and we're headed to Tahoe for the week. I packed for temps from 30 to 65. I think lol. It's hard once you've acclimated to a different climate. What used to feel warm now gives me goosebumps. Also, I try and keep in the back of my mind what I have still in the drawers at the house but sometimes my memory fails me, or worse, the clothes don't fit very well. I found out last winter's trip that half my sweaters were, you guessed it, too short for my pants!
So what I packed for 6 days:
2 pair skinnies (red and black)
2 long sleeve knit tops (white and berry)
2 short sleeve knit tops (white with patterns)
2 'fancy' tanks for going out (black sequin, blush chiffon)
2 cropped jackets (cream cord and black tux)
a cashmere ruffle cardi (green)
a sweaterdress/tunic (pink Missoni print)
a black cargo skirt
and one bathing suit (never know!)
black riding boots
black ballet flats
black patent ankle booties
accessories - just 2 necklaces, 2 watches and 2 pair of earrings. one reversible belt and a pewter clutch.
There are 3 or 4 other pairs of pants I could raid my closet for once I get there, along with plenty of warm shoe/boot options. Also plenty of overcoats!
I will try my best to get pics but I tend to get caught up in the moment sometimes and not do the best with photojournaling my trips So as of tomorrow you won't be seeing me for a while.
