I ordered the 27's. They are not BF slouchy, but they are also straight out of the box. Maybe after an afternoon of wear? I love the wash/distressing. Just not sure if I should try the 28's. Oh, and I am so happy that they are perfect length on me unrolled. That doesn't happen too often!
(I did catch my big toe on the left hole as was discussed in Laura's distressed jean thread yesterday. Didn't rip it open, but definitely interested in that clear patch idea!)

Should I wear them around and see how they stretch or just go up a size? heck, at this price I could have one fitted pair and one slouchy!

I might be tempted to order up and still keep these since you like a fitted silhouette. Having two pair wouldn't hurt.

Are these GAP? They will stretch, a lot.
I like them on you, if they stretch. I think they need to be a bit looser for the style to work.

You have been hunting for these for long enough that you should at least *try* both (wearing these a day and trying the 28s). No reason to be usure after all this... and as Suz said, you might be able to do both.

I think you look excellent in these, very flattering. I too prefer a narrower version of a BF jean for myself (mine probably don't even count as BFs). I think keep these and go for a size up or even two for a totally different look. Awesome choice!

Mo, I love the 27s on you. I returned mine. I liked them but did not love them on me. Also, I may finally have enough destroyed jeans, I have at least 3 pairs already. They look great on you, both front and back, and it's nice to be able to wear them rolled or unrolled.

How are they right now, are they truly skinny or is there some looseness to them already?

I really like the wash and the simple back pockets on these. I vote to try both sizes side by side. You might be surprised at how little difference (or how much of a huge difference) the next size up makes.

I really like these on you. The 27's look good, and you're right, I think a 28 would look good too, maybe as a second pair. I think if they don't stretch out more, maybe try the 28's for some more slouch.

Hmmmm.

I'm trying to advise you based on your challenges with wearing baggy bottoms, and particularly your preference for a tight rear fit. I like these! They look like tailored straight legs, which you can roll at the hems. It's a great fit.

But BF's they are not. And sizing up to a 28 is probably not going to pass your Rear Test.

Oops, I see that the comment I made on another one of your threads about distressed denim probably didn't go over very well. Well, I guess you now know my feelings on distressed/destroyed denim, but for what it's worth, those are a good fit on you. Very flattering.

Thanks for all the input. These are stretching out in the rear and waist. But not on the thighs - just what I wanted!! Tags are OFF. They are mine. Oh, to have the search over . . . .

Angie, you are right that I have a low threshold of baggy compared to most. I think these will stretch out fine for me.

I may indeed try 28's in the future.

Denise, sorry yours didn't work out but as you say, you have several distressed, and BF jeans already, so better to return than be dissatisfied!

I like how they look. I think they are destroyed straights, but I also agree with Angie that's probably more what you are looking for. Are these really soft to the touch? That's what sold me on mine.

These look great on you, although I'd say they are more '"girlfriend" than "boyfriend" fit, in the sense that they aren't oversized, slouchy or baggy. So satisfying to end a search!

These look great, Mo. I think if I jump on the BF bandwagon, this is the type of fit I would prefer. Super flattering!
