Yes, I am slightly conflicted on my results - I have even, regular features, am an hourglass (and could never be described as 'lean' which is one of the attributes of an natural!), and am short (again, naturals aren't) so I think I must have answered some of the questions incorrectly, Reading the actual body descriptions here http://seasonalcolor.yuku.com/.....xQNRIGLK7s makes me more like a soft classic, or maybe a soft natural.

It hasn't actually given me much help with my style definition!

I've done the test & I've come out as Dramatic Classic which I like the sound of!

Now I've read the body descriptions from ButterflyLady's link it actually makes sense - especially the bit about how the body shape changes dramatically when you put on weight - wow!

Have I missed a link towards styles that suit these body shapes? Thanks, Jx

Sveta, this was a fantastic link and I want to thank you for posting it. MNsara and Clearlyclaire suggested I take a look and I'm glad I did. You must feel so happy that the penny dropped for you!!

But, I'm like Mo in that I was a dominant D with a lot of A's and a sprinkling of C's, and there wasn't a D mentioned separately in the results. btw, I love your new photos you've posted here and can see that you truly know your own style. It's really lovely, Sveta.

Yay, Sveta - what a great and well-thought out self-analysis! You don't have to fit just one label, even if you make up your own, but for me it's good to have SOME sort of mantra or guideline.

I took this test and came out as Flamboyant Natural - what on earth does that mean?!

I am also intrigued by the concept of this, and rather confused and disappointed around my own very fuzzy results. My local library has the book and I am dying to take a look at it. Hopefully there will be pictorial descriptions. I found many of the test questions very problematic and impossible for me to answer with full confidence.

But I am really really happy for you, Sveta, that it brought on such an amazing epiphany! That is fabulous and exciting!

I like your style definition. It suits you.
I tried the test and am a dramatic classic.

ButterflyLady, I am sorry it did not provide a clear definition for you - I guess it does not work for everybody equally.
DragonflyJane, you can go through all articles on that fly - I think some of them suggest type of clothing to wear but as this writing is fro 80s you should take them with a grain of salt
Vicki, I think you missed it: mostly D or E with another strong A is placed as Theatrical Romantic. Does it sounds like you?
Una, I just felt so humbled that so many of you can put a name to your styles and drive an inspiration from it and I was completely clueless. This is what they wrote about Flamboyant Natural:
Flamboyant Natural
<< Physically, you are broad or long, and angular. Your features are prominent and strong, without being sharp or severe.
To express your strong Yang with blunt edges total essence, we want to develop an appearance that could best be described as: Free Spitfire Chic.>>
or can we say Urban Princess Warrior?:-) Remember this is not style, this is body and facial type which you should take into account when defining your style: to highlight and not to fight. At least this is how I see it - but accidentally Soft Dramatic really fitted my style too!
Mochi, thanks. You can ask your husband or kids to help you with answers: sometimes it is hard to see ourselves objectively.
Celia, you are in good company here!

Sveta, I'm thrilled you've found your inspiration! FWIW, I've always seen a strong consistent style from you and just assumed you had a really clear sense of your style goals. You've always seemed like one of the "experts" here to me in knowing what suits you, and on the rare occasions when you need a tweak, the basic elements of your style are always still present in shapes, colors, and execution.

Don't know if that makes sense - just wanted to point out that you are one of my style heroes for your strong looks and small wardrobe!

I think I am your Soft Dramatic twin on the board Sveta! I think this is partially why I am drawn to your style/ WIWs-- because I can imagine myself wearing them!

Ditto what alaskagirl said. You are one of my style heros here too.

Una and Amy, thanks. It is interesting that you have more confidence in my style than I do!
Elly, this is great, i love to have a twin type on YLF!

Late to this party but hooray Sveta! After reading several posts on the linked site, I can definitely see how well "soft dramatic" suits you. And after taking the test myself it also shed some light into why I am so so inspired by your style: I came out "theatrical romantic" which is, essentially, the flip yin/yang of "soft dramatic"!

(I also have a good smattering of classic in there, apparently. The descriptor does seem to fit my features, but not sure how I feel about the "romantic" part in terms of my style )

Aida, you and I are style twins! No wonder I find your WIW's so inspiring.

Soft Dramatic fits you so perfectly, Sveta. It's beautiful.

<shedding tears on long lost twins re-union>
