My spring/summer boot?

My local store has it on sale, but not in my size. I tried on a half size bigger and the leather is so soft! The shaft is slouchy fun IRL. Another store in a different city has my size. Hmmm....

Is this color too dark for spring/summer?
Am I buying for a fantasy life because I hate facing that summer is my dominant season? (My feet run cold and do not sweat easily.)
Would you classify this boot style as cowboy-ish? (trying to avoid that look)
Would the perforated style work in fall too? In winter with hosiery?

I think this is cute, but it does seem cowboyish - I picture it with a denim skirt somehow. Maybe it's the color?

It oesn't seem very summery to.me but that would depend on your outfits, since you could wear denims and flower prints in some way. The color is more fall-ish and the style is not " light" . But I'm on team " make your clothes fit your footwear" So if they're great for your feet you might design around them.

I like them but there is ALGO with the perforations, the slouch and the studs. I don't really see cowboy though.

They have a Western vibe for me but the perforated leather would make them good spring boots.

I feel like a downer, but they do look a little Western to my eye. And the color seems a bit dark for a summer boot. It could definitely translate for fall, IMO. Does it come in a lighter color?

Well I was thinking that with my skin tone, this color would be more appropriate for spring/summer. Hmmm...half of you said it has a Western vibe.

I think it's the orange tone to the color that makes it seems more fall than spring/summer? To me, anyway. It's a busy style to my eye - the studs, the perforation - so it does read sort of "cowboy" to me.

AJ the boots are really lovely but they read too western to me and that is not a style I particularly like.. so it's difficult for me to be objective.

1. I think that it is a great color particularly because you tend to wear things in this tone..like belts. I think that I have also seen you in browns and cognacs.

2. I think that these are great for your Fall weather ( they would stink for mine..haha )

AJ, I think the studs going across the arch and the general shape give it a cowboy vibe; sorry. For a S/S on you and your legs, I would look for something a bit more delicate and sleek/refined looking since your clothing fabrication will be lighter weight. Since you won't be wearing thick socks underneath, you could also go with a pointier toe -- as long as it doesn't look like pointy toed cowboy boot since you said you don't want that look!
