So Angie's recent capsule post had me thinking about my purchases this year. Luckily, I have FINDS to help me remember!
13 items (see Finds below) in 4 months is a little more than I usually buy for my short spring season, but most of these will still be very useful for my L-O-N-G summer.
All the shoes came from Nordstrom Rack. The pointy toe flats are not the exact color of the dark beige that I purchased, but I will be on the lookout for the rose gold option. They are very comfy!
I was in desperate need for a fallback LBD for funerals, theater, or date night occasions and this black, ponte knit dress from JCP's after Christmas sale was exactly what I needed. (Pockets...SQUEE!)
I wore the grey sweatshirt dress (it should be labeled as a tunic) many times with my black pleather leggings and black ankle boots. One of my all time fave FFBO!
The lilac skinny cords were great to add a bit of spring color on colder days. The color works well with all my grey, black, and navy tops.
The two long sleeves were OK. They fill a hole for light sleeved tops for spring, but I wasn't feeling FAB in them.
The striped top and two shorts are more recent purchases, and I haven't had a chance to wear them yet.
The floral tee and the chambray boxy top are from LOFT and they will get a ton of use this summer/fall.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with my purchases and most likely will add a couple more tops, a breezy skirt, and tomato red shorts to replace one that has seen better days.
