My Sister's Body Type

OK, I was thinking originally, that my beautiful sister was an apple. But now I'm thinking she's an hourglass. Keep in mind, that she's barely 5 feet tall, and she had a sudden weight gain. When she was thinner, she was definitely NOT an apple. What do you think?

It might be the angle or something, but to me she looks more like an inverted triangle. Or maybe an hourglass that tends toward an inverted triangle. That might be it, because I know my mom is an inverted triangle that has some hourglass tendencies, and when she gains weight, she mainly gains it on her chest, upper back, and arms, and then some around her middle. It looks like maybe your sister gains it the same way? I'd maybe follow some rules for apple, and some for inverted triangle as well.

Thanks Ana, she definitely could have Inverted Triangle tendencies. We had a really difficult time finding tops in the regular sizes for her. But when we moved up to plus sizing (or Women's sizing) the rest of the proportions were all wrong. I think she needs a petite women's sizing in her tops. Most of the bottoms she got were petite 14's.

I tend to agree with Ana, I'll say inverted triangle with apple tendencies.

I was going to say that she kind of has a similar shape as my mom, who is an apple, but with broader shoulders. I think an appley inverted triangle sounds right. She doesn't really strike me as an hourglass, even though the rules for hourglasses are fairly loose compared to other body types.
