I needed shoes and bags for my new dresses, did I do okay, I'm not confident in my choices though?

I like the bags. Are you planning to winnow the selection of shoes down? Because, have to admit, the sandals are extremely similar. They’d take away wears from one another if you were truly to have so many. And also I’ve learned shoes don’t necessarily keep well in storage.

Nice set of strappy heels. When thy arrive, you can post a Keep/Return tryon session if you want help narrowing down which ones you want to keep. I got lots of helpful comments on a series of posts i did about my sandals search last summer. Getting shoes right is so important and so hard. With heels it’s even harder to find The Ones that look right and that you can walk in all day long. Will you wear heels with the short dresses too? I’d go for loafers or something like what’s shown with your #9 dress pic, but that’s me, not you. Some people prefer sneakers with short dresses, but that’s them. You’ve got to do you.

A gorgeous selection! I hope they fit well and are comfy. The styles of sandals you have chosen are good because the straps keep them on the foot and make them easier to walk in.

The bags are perfect for your dresses and skirts, you must be excited with your amazing new wardrobe.

I don't wear heels much anymore so I can't give much advice on styles, (only have one pair in my closet here lol) but these all look fairly sturdy & comfy

Agree with @Stag about trying them on though, especially with the dresses in question (once you get them), so you can play around with proportions to help learn what works *on you* & what doesn't. I say this because everybody's different, so it takes trial & error to learn your own personal set of 'rules' - e.g. some people really love wearing dresses with ankle straps (like you've shown here), but others find they cut off their legs horizontally & so will only wear ankle straps with covered legs (or in a colour closer to their skintone). No way of knowing until you try it out in the mirror!

Alyssa will you be comfortable in this high a heel? These all look quite similar to me. I agree with Rachy that they might be too similar.
I understand that you’re excited about buying all these new feminine outfits but I guess seeing a number of us ( me in particular! ) have sometimes felt like we are “drowning in clothes”, I wouldn’t like to see you do the same thing so soon, in case you regret buying too much- for both financial and storage and also possible preference-changing reasons. But certainly seeing your try-ons will be fun! Nice bags too.

The bags are lovely as are the shoes.l think that trying them on and deciding what heel height you feel comfortable with is crucial.Walking elegantly makes any shoe look better.
