Okay, far from my WHOLE shoe wish-list, but what I have randomly bookmarked with no particular agenda other than lust. Some of these are just a placeholder for a type of shoe, e.g., "nude ankle boot".

Interesting shoes! I have a pair of ecco ankle boots ( black) and they are extremely comfortable. The frye lois kilties are super cute!

Love the Cordani ankle boots; Frye Carson shorties in orange; Frye kittie pumps; silver gladiator sandals; Ecco nude boot; monk shoes. I don't care for the Cardiani cut-out bootie and am not sure they'd actually look flattering on the foot.

To narrow it down even more, you could choose either the Frye Carson shorties or the Ecco nude boot - but not both - the nude would probably be more versatile. You could also choose between the Frye kittie pumps or the monk shoes - I prefer the monk shoes. They look a little more UWP to my eye.

There's my two cents FWIW.

Shannon, are you granting me permission to buy all of these? Thanks for sharing your thought process - it's very helpful. What usually happens with shoes is I keep them in my wishlist until they become unavailable, then I agonize over why I didn't buy what I wanted.

Just saw the Doc Martens brogues - didn't see those the first time around. I'm also lusting after those - not that this is helpful to you (lol).

I don't think I'd better give you permission to buy all the rest - I don't need your family hunting me down!

I don't need to know about more shoe brands!!! Love your choices. I like the top Cordani more than the cut-out, but are you familiar with the quality of the suede they use? I love suede, but somehow manage to trash all my suede shoes in record time. . . To my eye, the J. kiltie/monk shoes look more *Una* than the Fryes which border on the old lady look. Also, did you notice that the fuschia Doc Marten wedges weigh a pound?!!! Seems like that is awfully heavy.

Ummm, I really don't NEED to know this. . .but. . .do you know if any of those brands run wide? I normally need a wide width shoe due to my bunions, but can occasionally wear a medium shoe if it is cut right and runs wide.

Donna, I know that Frye shoes can run narrow. I have a pair of Cordani boots which I had to get stretched also. Docs are a good bet for wide feet! I have wide almost square feet so it's an issue for me too!

I wondered about the Frye kilties being too frumpy. I really wanted these:

I think the real risk here is not that we're going to be bored to tears, but that we'll have drool stains on our shirts! Fabulous! I really love the Frye shorties.

I am with Rae - what kind of shoe do yo need? I like a bunch of the heeled/wedge oxfords. Suede makes me swoon but it gets ruined so easily in any kind of water-y weather.

It's true Docs are heavy but think of the benefits? It's like wearing ankle weights - so you work out while you walk!

Why not suede for summer? In those pretty bright colours, they look summery enough to me.
