Thank you all for your sympathy and kind words.
bettycrocker, yes we do!
Linda, it's nice to know others understand.
LaCeleste, we did have a good long run together, thank you.
Angie, I remember reading about your sweet girls and I know you completely understand.
texstyle, so sorry about your kitty. Life is fleeting and especially for our pets because they live so fast.
rabbit, that's sweet of you to say.
Xtaby, thank you. I like to think that Bailey is running about and having fun.
JAileen, I'm so sorry about your Jack Russell, what an adorable face. I take Ginger to classes at a wonderful dog training facility and the trainers know Bailey from private sessions we had at our home. I find it especially comforting to talk to dog people about Bailey.
Rachylou, stop! Enough tears are happening on my end.
Maneera, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Lot's of canine cuddle therapy happening here, Ginger is making sure of that.
LisaP, words do not do these little guys justice indeed. Ginger has been handling it well. I could tell she was wondering where Bailey was the first few days, and a bit anxious, but she seems fine now.
Ummlila, oh no, I'm so sorry to hear about Reed. Thank goodness you can be near him while you work. I was so fortunate that I could spend all my time with Bailey, especially in his last few years when he needed extra care and attention. Like Angie and Greg, David and I put our lives on hold for him and I have no regrets about that at all. I always joked that I was running a doggie nursing home and I was happy I could do it.
Lara, your poor baby girl. Your loving care is no doubt keeping her going. I know about the pins and needles all too well. And thanks for the movie recommendation. I just watched the trailer online and I think I'll have to put this one on the list for the future viewing.
Lyn D. writing about Bailey has helped a bit today.
deb, oh poodles, I love standard poodles! I'm so sorry you lost both of your babies.
