So since I got back from the writers' conference I went to in late July, I've been busy a) working on the proposals for the books I pitched to agents at the conference, that's right, I said books plural b) freaking out about a and procrastinating in creative ways c) freaking out about all the other things I need to do, cf platform and social media, etc. You can't be an author and an introvert anymore, apparently.

We're finally getting some 'real' heat here so all the true summer wear is coming out to play. Why do I have so many flowy summer skirts, when there is only about 6 weeks of hot weather where I live? I mean, some of them I sewed so I'm reluctant to toss them, but jeez.

I've replaced all of my hangers for current season clothes, at least for everything except the skirts. I have a melange of skirt hanger types so I need to settle on one (and get rid of some skirts, see above). I went with the flocked hangers that Bed Bath & Beyond sells, and speaking of whom, they have some nice boot shapers in store right now that have a little hanging doohickey, so you can hang up your boots in your closet if you want to.

We've bought plane tickets for Europe next spring which I am totally psyched about. The current plan is to spend most of the time in Germany, Austria, etc., which I haven't been to since I was a kid. Anyone have any particular suggestions?

I really miss having a functioning non-phone camera to take WIW pics. I feel like I've gotten a lot more creative and freewheeling about my outfits but the only one to appreciate them most of the time is my husband or my writing partners. :/
